Palace tactics - mark Emile Smith Rowe and kick Saka & the rest of the players not doing much at all. My comms said Arsenal yet to start and I think that is a fair comment. Time for Arteta to use tactics to change the complexion of the game.

If Partey gets on, I’d be surprised if it’s much earlier than five minutes or so from the end. He’s been out for ages and giving him over half an hour may increase the chance of another injury?

Is it worth the risk, especially as our league games could arguably be considered a bit meaningless if we’re not going down and are too far off the European places to be in with a better than outside chance of getting one via league placings?

Maybe our best chances are winning the Europa League for a Champions League place or the FA Cup for a Europa League place? The cups surely have to be Arsenal’s big priority this season.

When Luiz gets the ball, Saka moves forward and Zhaka drops over to the left back position, but more like a back three.

I felt Ceballos played well. But in my view it’s obvious that Arteta pretty much loves Xhaka.
