a winger with pace and power, a central mid getting in the box, and the opposite winger following up to score.

3 things we don't have at all in our squad or play

Yay!!!!!!

Great cross. Great header.

This despite someone trying to remove Gabriel’s shirt.

If you score a header following a short corner does that count as a goal from open play?

That is such a big goal for us, we couldn't afford to stay behind very long our confidence must be zapped even before their goal

David Luiz looking like Terry Butcher.

Can’t believe that he’s still on the pitch.

His shirt was pulled the whole time. It was blatant. Had he not scored, the ref wouldn't have done a thing about it.

Super cross by Willian for the goal. Happy with that.

Traore is a player that I’d love us to have.

Same is true of most squads I suppose.

The thing is, he's barely player this season, and when he has he's been pretty ineffectial. Yet when he plays us he's the best player in the league all of a sudden. Must make a better plan for him

Comms saying a deflection on the shot so Leno was diving and had to adjust so it was all he could do

Wish I hadn’t posted about him. Two minutes later he did the business.

How, deflected massively and managed to get a leg on it.

nevermind the abysmal defending that led to it

Yes deflection on shot, but even so he should have done better. Soft hands

Really missing Partey. Just those few minutes he has played for us shows how he's absolutely miles above every midfielder we have and shows how far away our midfield without him is to be anything close to competent. Probably bottom 3rd in the league central midfield without him I'd say

Why are we letting Luiz take these long range free kicks? when was the last time he even hit one on target?

We have no midfield. None whatsoever

Surely Maitland Niles is worth a try then these jokers

We're getting torn apart with pace and power. Where is the pace in this team. central midfield is totally pedestrian and so slow to react to anything. All over the pitch, slow, immobile just really really poor - and because so many of our problems are down to a lack of physicality and athleticism there really isn't a solution to it, we have to suffer it until we can clear out this squad.

He's worth a shot.

He was very good when he came on away to wolves to specifically deal with Traore

And why is Aubameyang captain? He’s not captain material.

But then who in this team is?

Give it Kieran

58% possession to wolves, 8 shots to our 3 and they lead 2-1 - dominated us through the entire match. They're playing like the home team and they aren't exactly a team flying with confidence and are a team who is really only going to finish about 8th this year. Leeds dominated us as well. Where exactly do we stand now? It feels like somewhere 10th-14th at best right now

At least he seems to give one and he’s vocal.

Aubameyang never seems to utter a word

Roy Keane talking about player safety on the pitch.

The irony.

I'm at a loss here. We've played lots of differnt systems, formations, tactics this season, we've played Aubameyang wide we've played him up top, we've had poor performing players replaced by others - it feels like we've tried so many different things to try to find some form and nothing is working. We're an absolute sorry state right now. It feels like we literally cannot go out and 'win' a game through our own quality, the only way we can do anything right now is a spot of luck, a set piece or a mistake. We've got nothing.

We invite teams on to us so we can counter but we're not quick enough to counter
We push forward but are vulnerable to the counter
Teams sit deep and we have zero creativity and pass the ball to slow
We don't have players who can play high tempo so we lose out to teams who do play high tempo
We continually get caught with lofted balls in to the space behind our fullbacks but can never execute this ourselves

Anything we try to do is just easily bested by almost any prem opponent right now

Aubameyang looks disinterested

We have a non existent midfield

Perhaps we should bring on Aubameyang for the second half.

6 teams below us right now.

About as bad as it gets for us.

Ffs it’s not Aubameyangs fault, he plays in a part of the pitch our team is unable to inhabit

Ain’t Lenos either. Embarrassing to listen to people blaming these 2 all the time.

He can't get the ball. Our build up play is painfully slow and he thrives on an early ball to run onto.
