Putting my Wales bobble hat on, is this a good move for him in your opinion?

potentially, yes
Like all youngsters he needs to be playing regularly to ensure his development isn't hindered

There’s a long way to go without a shred of doubt. The key is if Arteta can improve our away form. Can’t get a win for love nor money.

Also there was food for thought on the possible permanent signing of Ceballos. If he continues his form and is available for around 30 million that might be a deal worth contemplating. It was evident simply having a more forward thinking passer at the base of your midfield helped us hugely and I don’t think it was a coincidence Özil had his best game in ages.

Agreed, someone who can get the ball forward quickly, creatively and accurately in to the space Özil occupies but can be quickly shut down if he doesn't get the service quickly enough. Cazorla worked wonders for us in this regard

Good news. How is the atmosphere since Arteta has taken over? Any visible changes to the youth side?

The club said several weeks but Mourinho said he’ll be out for the rest of the season. Hope good old Jose is right.

We play them weekend of 25th April. That's 9+ weeks hence.

No changes on academy side specifically from Arteta's arrival;
Lots of ongoing change aligned to the departure of Steve Morrow and co...….

What? She'd had sex with the dead guy before? He must have been a bit ripe.

Apparently it's not illegal in California to have sex with dead people so she only got a $ 250 fine and eleven days in jail for pinching the hearse .

Not sure any of the “new” people ever played for Barnet
Adam Burchall is ex-Barnet, but he’s been here a while

I'm hoping Liverpool turns it around. Atletico is tough at home. I am not a fan of their usual negative style. But I having to try and win in a league with Barca and RM, you are never going to beat them by being better attacking and more flair.

This game I AM were more attacking out the gate the first 20 minutes. Liverpool had their chances but AM did a farily good job of neutralizing them.

If LFC are going to break our record, then at least get the treble and spread the pain to the Mancs. Yeah...yeah...I know how it sounds. Don't care. lol

Nice sunny day today in NZ so I decide to mow the lawns .

Go out to my home built garden shed ... unlike Cannon's bird feeder from yesteryear everything is plum .. which means vertical / horizontal for all you office wallahs ; not the fruit .

I haul out the lawnmower ; while topping up the petrol I happen to look at the enormous comfrey patch .

Jesus H ... there is a green shield bug convention in progress ...about fifty of these grubby little f***^%% just enjoying the sunshine while sticking their liitle hyperdermic mouthparts into the plant and sucking out it's life juices .
I hate parasites in all forms .

:7laughter: Ahhh we'll soon change that ... the lawnmowing gets put on hold .

Into the shed ; get an oil can 2 parts automatic transmission fluid , 1 part kerosene , 1 part mineral turpentine . ..shake it up

Out I come .. seat myself in a garden chair ... Splat Splat Splat Splat ....... Scuttling . trying to fly , turning belly up ...... the panic among these liitle tossers is magic .

Like Thierry Henry going through a Liverpool defence https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x3r9o

I tell you retirement is wonderful .

WARNING ........ don't do this on any plant you eventually hope to eat .

Weren't you complaining about fluoride in the water not so long ago?

Where has the eco warrior in you gone Pete??

Btw, my partner's daughter and her partner are currently traversing your country in a station wagon type car. They love it.

But I'll tell them to pass on the comfrey.

Two Liverpool players, two Man Utd players arguing over OGS. You already know its not going to be pretty. Keane has a point about getting managers more time. Judging by today, Ferguson would have been sacked before the '90 FA cup win. Which every time I see highlights i'm willing Palace to win it still.

I think we are capable of going far into the Europa. If we get the injured players back and the new players from January, it may have to time for them to gel enough to get to the semis if not the finals again.

The ball boy in the Man City vs West Ham game interfered with a live ball but he didn't realize it. Felt badly for him.

If City are deemed ineligible for the CL next season after appeals, not sure if we have enough in us to get to 5th. Our GD is atrocious. If not us, I'm cheering for the Blades to get in.

Tell your friends to either carry their camera , wallet , any valuables with them ....... or at least hide them out of sight in their car .

We have plenty of low lifes in this country who target known tourist spots ; ready to steal anything of value .

Don’t know if anyone has seen an initiative Roma started 2 transfer windows ago? Every time they announce a new signing they post a picture of a missing child/person with equal weighting to the signing. It has had some success as some of these kids have been found.

They are urging other clubs to pick up on this. When you think of the clicks or views a new signing for a big club has it is a great opportunity to do something like this. Would be great if Arsenal did this as well.

Brilliant to see Jose in full Jose mode. Trying to create a ‘poor us, poor me’ excuse. He’s talking about going to a gun fight without bullets because of his ‘crippling’ injury crisis, which really amounts to Son and Kane as far as I can see. Important players, but only 2 players in a squad of 25. Let’s also remember Leipzig we’re without their two first choice CB last night!
Pochettino spent a long time slowly removing the inferiority complex for spurs, he got them to a position where they played with confidence and zero respect for whoever they played, believing they can get a result against anyone. In a few months Jose has wiped most of that away and bought in the underdog mentality, how can little spurs be expected to compete against the big teams in the prem and the big teams in Europe. So glad we didn’t go near this guy for our manager

I’ve been quite impressed so far. Olympiakos were always going to come flying out of the blocks. We survived that and have gradually exerted control. Just need to build on that.
