I find it amazing how a defender facing his own goal can get the tiniest nudge, go over and always win the free kick. If the same happened in the penalty area it wouldn’t be given as a pen

Obvious yellow for Luiz but where was the one when Pépé could have been through.

Once again, how is that one not a yellow card. Lunges in and very late on Kola. Well worse than Sokratis foul.

This ref is really not being consistent and fair

I think they are basically stupid John ..... even though we have more intensity and have equalised there are so many times with break away opportunities .... they pause , pass sideways , backwards by which time are well and truly organised ..... can't figure how the players don't see this .

I think playing Aubameyang and Lacazette together is not effective for us. Aubameyang is better in the middle.

So, our usual 2 goals conceded then. Sigh.

Well you've just been proved right.

Marking is non-existent.

God help us.

Once again no one engaging the player on the ball. Awful off the ball work to not track a runner, mooy allowed all the time in the world to put a simple cross in for a free header.

We looked lovely for 15 mins but we’re officially dead again

Xhaka with no effort to try to head it away. Our players are just so lazy.

Why aren't there "Kroenke out" chants in the stadium?

Looking at the worst run of games since the 70’s.

By the end of January we will be in the bottom 6

The heart has gone out of all the players and out of the club. Clubs without heart get relegated

So the trainer comes on to treat two Brighton players, Arsenal about to take a corner and the ref doesn’t make the Brighton players go off the pitch!!! How can he pick and choose when to apply that rule

We should have this corner v 9 men

Let’s be honest a home defeat to an average team has been waiting to be fished out to us over the last 5-6 home games

Well deserved Brighton. You will have to work a lot harder and fight a lot more for all of the rest of your victories this season.

About as far removed from the Invincibles as is possible to imagine.

Truly dreadful.

Before our run of last 8 prem games I said we needed to win 6-7 of them minimum to make top 4, I should have said we need to win 3-4 of them to avoid being in a relegation fight.

I’ve never seen a team so bereft of confidence.

A very disjointed team, very very disjointed.

This team could easily get relegated. Forget top four and Europe next year. The battle is to stay in the EPL next season

Agreed. And after over 10 years of wanting more, wanting ambition, wanting lessons learnt it feels like the fans have gone beyond anger and frustration - the fans feel resigned

Positives: Freddie is not the guy.
Negatives: Too many to post.

As soon as you start signing twats like Luiz you have problems

Mate said last week if ever there was a defender destined to play for arsenal.

There’s several players in our squad who cost serious money who aren’t fit to wear the shirt but we have to persist.

Our problems are now terminal. Like I said at the weekend, offer Brendon Rogers the biggest cheque we can afford. A novice manager won’t be able to fix this I assure you. This is turning into a disaster

Yep, other teams fans who don’t watch the games will scoff at the suggestion and write it off as overly frustrated fans. But my goodness it really is a reality
5 points above the bottom 3 but Everton will have the chance of that new manager bounce every team gets(!)
West Ham (a) defeat based on West Ham wanting it more
City (h) even a decent arsenal lose to them
Everton (a) we won’t be up for that. That’s got 2-0 defeat written all over it
Bournemouth (a) might scrape a draw but will probably lose up against the pace and movement of their attacking players
Chelsea (h) and Man U (h) might get draws that will seem credible but could easily make terrible off the ball errors and get done by counter attacks and lose both
Actually, there’s not much point going any further, we can’t beat Brighton, wolves, palace or Southampton at home so where are the points coming from. Has a team ever stayed up on 19 points!!

You simply can’t insert a Arteta or Vieira into this situation. It’s past that

This requires an older head now.
