In american sports, correct me if I'm wrong, once you've blown your chance and you're having 'losing season' you juts try to lose and so get a higher pick in the draft next year. I just don't think Kroenke as an owner of american sports franchises can frankly see what the fuss is about. You have a losing season, no matter how early it starts, and then you regroup. Disappointed but we are still ahead in the table. As I said when Wenger was in charge as now with Emery. Getting rid of either doesn't negate the fact that we are rotten at the top. Kroenke is the problem once you peel back the layers.
And we are stuck with him. That's why I am resigned about us and the future. What's the point. Years ago I said, if we win trophies is despite not because of Kroenke and I am more right now than ever.
I warned years ago, the board should not have backed someone who does not know the sport, does not know and love the club because at the end of the day, every club that has continuing success loved the sport as well as the club.

Emery leaving won't solve our problem. Even if we get the manager we want by consensus there will come a time where we will need money to go the next level and Kroenke will make a business decision not to.
All owners will have to make that decision at some point in order to win things and build a foundation. They will have to spend more than you really should using their heart instead of listening to the accountants.
