Literally nothing else.

According to Emery, he gives a very important balance to the team. Don't know what Emery means :20hospitals:

Without him, We'd have a 100 K weekly surplus. Can't have that now, can we.

Dominant, but only 1 up. Lot of football to be played yet and you would expect Bournemouth to change something at half time because they've been poor.

Özil's salary makes you want to weep.

That’s essentially why he’s not in the squad

The club are trying to force the issue and make it untenable.

Our fans losing the plot over it need to see sense. I could understand their view if he was absolutely tearing it up on the occasions he does play but he just doesn’t

We need to bring on Willock for his energy but if we do you just know it’s Ceballos coming off rather than Xhaka.

Think Pépé has looked better this game. 1 assist

Happy that Özil is out. Hes become a liability.

Very tentative start to the half. .

If Ceballos is to join permanently he will need to up his game

He moves it well but there’s a lot of bluster there. Crying out for a playmaker

Final product still hit and miss but looks a prospect.

Martinelli on!

Really seem to be struggling at home against a mid table team.

We've been poor and the youngsters are looking every year of their inexperience.

Second half has been poor. Please don't throw the points away late.

Too many flicks instead of making the simple pass.

Scrappy 1-0 win. Better than losing 3 to Brighton. Hot on Man City's heels now for second :58big-emoticons:

3 points in the bag. But a very poor match. We were so disjointed in our attacks.

Top Gun would agree that Aubameyang was in need of a rest midweek, not coming off the bench against the Belgians when we were 4 up. :icon_mrgreen:

Decent first half when Bournemouth were not at the races but failed to grab more than one goal. Bournemouth stepped it up second half and we lost control of the game. Lucky to win in the end. Poor second half.

Not vintage but a win and a clean sheet, not a game anyone will remember at the end of the season.
I thought Chambers was MOTM, I haven’t ever been sure he’s up to the quality we need but he’s been excellent this season.

Still frustrated how we don’t attack and kill the game, far too tentative in he second half. Felt like there were too many players trying to force it and frustratingly playing the difficult pass or flick when it’s only 1-0.

Also frustrated that when Bournemouth did attack us that we don’t seem to offer any threat on the counter attack.

How do Bournemouth find their strikers running in behind our defence so often and we couldn’t do it once?

Your right the 9 minutes on Tuesday killed him today and it wasn’t that he looked gingerly after getting a massive whack off Ake in the first half.

Can't help but have to say that it is so easy to get past Xhaka. What does Emery see that we don't?
:sad5:

Your right Xhaka needs to go but I’m not sure the whole midfield is structured properly. Ceballos and Guendouzi don’t seem aware of their roles and want to do a bit of everything leaving us without a no10 if Özil doesn’t play.

Xhaka seems to think he is a DM even though we have been here before and sits on the halfway line committing foul after foul.

The other 2 midfielders aren’t making enough runs in the penalty box so Aubameyang gets little support.

I also think we are missing Ramsey.

Think people are unaware that our midfield problems are putting more pressure on the defence.

Not a good performance today by any stretch of the imagination but hopefully the start of a good run in the league.

Lacked creativity and Bournemouth were worthy of a leveller but luckily fluffed their lines with that gilt edge chance.

Looks like it was a good day for me to have been playing in a tennis tournament. I missed the ‘fun’ at the Emirates and couldn’t check the score until after the match had finished. The 3 min Sky highlights look to be sufficient for a recap.

Anyone from outside the top 6 who feels like getting somewhere close to 65 points is going to have a serious chance of challenging top 4.
Man U are woeful, spurs are going backwards, we’re flattering to deceive and whilst Chelsea maybe look the best they can still be quite brittle with such an inexperienced team.

I think we're doing ok. Chelsea as well. The question is whether Spurs or Utd can recover from their poor form. Long way to go. Leicester look the best of the rest.
