Emerson should be in the book for that no doubt. Very lenient ref

Yeah I thought so. Let’s hope Kante’s knee seizes up at half time. Lacazette working hard and holding his ground brilliantly. Fancy Aubameyang to get the goal though. Soon as he gets a sniff.

Difficult to enjoy it, so tight. We haven't been bad but a few ominous signs near the end of the half.

We have been the better side but Chelsea have had better chances. With all the space he's getting, it's a pity Kolasinac can't play football. Pretty poor game so far.

Pretty even given those last 5 mins with Chelsea on top.
2 big decisions for the pen not given and azpilicueta having more than a handful of Lacazette’s shirt when running through on the gk. the second one probably happens every game and is only evident on the replay.....but if var is only for goals, pens and red cards it could have been looked at. If it was exactly the same in the box everyone would say ‘technically that is a pen’

Notwithstanding all the bollocks of location, connectivity and cost, that is a seriously *%^@ stadium for football. Front row spectators at halfway must be 50m from the play. I’ve never seen such a big behind-goal zone.

The tv coverage is shite too because the cameras are about 5 miles from the pitch

Didn’t even review the shirt pull in the studio. Eidur Gudjonnsen pretending he can’t see Kepa’s head snap back as it hits Lacazette’s leg.

Maybe someone might ask Özil to shift his arse. We can’t do this with 10 men.

You need a taxi to get from the stand to the goal.

Unfortunately with our lack of incisiveness in the final third the game has Chelsea sucker punch written all over it.

Seen the pen again. There is contact from the gk. very minor but it is contact and when we are using var and slowing it down, that bit of contact should be all that is required

If SK could try and actually cross the ball things might look better. The team totally wasted our good play in the first half.

Indeed. Looks like it's filmed from the ISS.

And there it is. Out of Čech's reach too.

:laughing7: and you don't think the fact that Lacazette " left his legs behind " in classic bullsh**t diving fashion had a bearing on the ref dismissing his claim .

Think Hazard doing the same in our area would you still be baying for a penalty ....?

Brilliant goal you’d have to say. Virtually impossible to defend.

Ffs - clear foul on AMN then Chelsea attack down his spot and score a second

Why can’t be catch a single break in these games.

Penalty would have changed this completely

It’s just so disappointing. Like to see the challenge on Maitland-Niles again. Needed things to go for us to have a decent chance and really they haven’t.

Dismal defending. No one even remotely aware that Pedro was there. Özil walking around the pitch doing *%^@ all. Sell the prick.

And that's the end of that. Here comes another record for Arsenal.

Arsenal are just a waste of time nowadays. Off to see if I can snooze for 30 mins before work.

Could be worse. You could be stuck watching this in Baku with the return trip to endure.

Pathetic showing in a major final. Absolutely dreadful.
