Those under verified streams usually work okay.

Looks like a 3-5-2 formation, I wonder who from that midfield 3 will be given licence to roam forward.

No attacking midfielders in the starting lineup. Emery continuing to be utterly unpredictable - very interesting to see how the midfield three works together. Three excellent players with a lot of different qualities.

I agree Haz. I'm looking forward to seeing how the three play together.

I think saying City ‘escaped’ defeat away to big teams is quite unfair. They battered us 2-0, never looked like losing to spurs and were a last min missed pen away from giving Liverpool their only defeat of the season.
Right now my money would be on them going unbeaten all season

Guendouzi as playmaker?

Tactics are clear, very high press from Huddersfield and as soon as arsenal get past the high press there is an immediate foul

Play stopped for 3 full minutes for a Huddersfield player with a sore wrist. Quite why the ref can’t make him leave the pitch immediately to get treatment on a wrist injury is beyond me

And quite effective so far. We haven't got going yet.

Ref not strong enough with the continual rotational fouling. 7 fouls already from Huddersfield

Unbelievable. All of Huddersfield’s fouls and Xhaka gets a yellow for a dive on half way as he is challenged from behind. Pathetic from the ref. I just don’t understand why refs are so lenient on such obvious physical tactics that break the rules but clamp down immediately on any perceived infringement from the team actually trying to play football

Truly bizarre. Baffled the commentary team as well

Yup but why go down?

Nothing then two sitters missed in a minute!

This is incredibly frustrating.
Arsenal missing sitters
Ref allowing their fouls to go unpunished but we so much as come near them and it is a foul. And for the full house you have time wasting from every stoppage already. I hate these sorts of games

Mustafi needs to be careful or he's going to get a yellow soon, and a suspension.

This is shocking. Huddersfield tactics are so obvious. Terrible terrible tackle sliding in from behind and taking the man, clear yellow. Torreira seems to be targeted.

Huddersfield with so many fouls and so many bad fouls, only 2 yellows and arsenal have 2 yellows for a dive and retaliation

Emery will need to change this. Game plan isn’t working and he needs to get Iwobi on.

We don’t need 3 central defenders

... may be better to watch than the game. Albeit it is livening up ... but not in a good way. We need to get a grip.

This ref has lost control totally here. How on earth have arsenal got 3 yellows is absolutely bizarre.
Huddersfield player fouled an arsenal man and the ref gave him a yellow but in the seconds after the foul another Huddersfield’s player saw it as a chance to put one in on Guendouzi- a free hit effectielvely - more than deserving of a yellow but ref hasn’t got a clue.

This needs stamping out of the game.

Awful again. Lacazette pounces on a back pass and scores. Lino gave him offside but it was surely a second phase of play as the defender had won it and had plenty of time to clear it and messed it up. Lino has bailed the defender out. Really poor again from the officials

Managers of small teams talk about big sides getting all the decisions but that is nonsense for teams that come to the emirates and want to ‘get in our faces’. Refs in this country need to wake up and start properly clamping down on deliberate aggressive fouling tactics

But we are allowing ourselves to get rattled. Almost conceded there. Where's the leadership?

We've now conceded 2 yellow for diving too.

Unlucky Torreira. Now Mustafi gets a yellow for diving and we've lost two centre backs for the next game. Ffs.

If I was Emery I’d consider subbing some of the players on yellows. I can see somebody walking in the second half

Mustafi now booked for diving. Missing both our Cb for the next game.

I have honestly never seen a ref so quick to pull out a yellow card for arsenal players. It is like he knows he’s under pressure to produce yellows for the continual fouling of Huddersfield so somehow feels like he needs to level things up and give yellows to arsenal for any indescrition.

Ref has totally lost control of that game and ruined a half of football. Not seen him have one of our games before. Not good enough for the top league if he can’t control a game

I’ve never seen a ref so quick for the card on those two diving cases, especially orally xhaka’s where the intent to foul was coming from behind.
Lichsteiner rightly kicked off at a bad foul. Professional footballers know what is going on and they know when the ref is weak, Huddersfield were being allowed to kick whatever they wanted and it needed an arsenal player to have a go at him.

Need to keep our heads here, still plenty of time to win this. Should be 3-0 up bar two bad misses and a shocking decision from the ref. Need a bit more creativity, I'd put Iwobi or Mkhitaryan on.
