Stop stressing Bernard and block him. The more that block him the less he'll see and hopefully he'll learn a lesson.

Imagine you turn on the forum and noone has posted for days and dsys would you still keep trying?

Give him a dose of his own medicine.

I'm not really comfortable with the idea of blocking people. Or even giving people the opportunity to block others. I'd rather have my enjoyment of the forum severely compromised by continuing to see his stuff than block him. I accept that's a bit daft, but never mind.

I don' think that's correct Bubblechris. I'm assuming the American half-wit has blocked me but I still see his never-ending drivel when I log on to the forum.

...forgot to add. In my effort to be fair (lol..really), when I was reading their post some 2 or more years ago, I loved reading some of their posts. It's one of the things that drew me to this site. Many if not post were there pre EPL, have wonderful stories about yesteryears and the reason I spent money to buy the 1978 and 1979 FA Cup final DVDs was to see Liam Brady and others because of just how much, in part, the ones I blocked spoke about them and the personal stories related to those times.

So, while I won't read similar posts again, it wasn't worth it if I was going to be trolled ad nauseum. Not a pity party on my part. I'm enjoying the forum and have been for some time. The ones remaining we disagree on tactics, etc, without it escalating to personal attacks.

Finally, one of the main reasons if not the primary reason I decided to just 'chill out' and post and ignore (via a handful of blocked folks) is that someone reminded me in a PM that it was a bit disrespectful to the memory of Steve. I was ashamed of my part in the cringeworthy tete e tete posts and out of respect for the family and with Judith sometimes readng, I decided it was better to ignore them and not respond (although I'm a little naughty now but I hope it can be forgiven).

On a sidenote, just out of curiosity. What constitutes "trolling"? Is it a subjective thing? Or by consensus? Just curious.

What does it mean to troll on social media?

Trolling is defined as creating discord on the Internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people by posting inflammatory or off-topic messages in an online community.
Basically, a social media troll is someone who purposely says something controversial in order to get a rise out of other users.

I see that we’re being linked with a £44 million pound bid for a winger from Roma with the magical name of Under. A gift for newspaper headline writers I would think.

Warrior, thank you for your efforts as administrator.

On to the football. While it will be a tough game I am expecting us to win but maybe after putting us thru the ringer.

Hoping for spurs to beat Chelsea just to take another of the undefeated teams out of record books.

Congrats to Rich - very happy for you. Wish mine were little again.

Thanks to Rog too.

Watched an old 1995 FA Cup match on Sky the other day, the one at home where we lost 2-0 to Milwall. Didn't go even though I had a ticket, due to family issues.

Brought back some memories. We had a reasonable team out, but Milwall were better.

Cracking haircut Seaman had.

My guess and its only a guess, Emery is not happy with the right side of the pitch and is not happy with our Armenian. Throw in the fact that Welbeck is out and I can understand why we are linked with wingers and attackers.

I hope we go in for a defender IF we only have money for 1 quality player. Someone who can start right away. I think the youth we have are quality enough to play on the right and do a good enough job.

City score at West Ham and I am no longer interested in watching the game. WH chasing the game is likely to result in a big scoreline for City. Hoping against all hope though.

Just looked at the table & even although we have a game to play, we are now a long way behind the leaders. A couple of poor games & the title is gone ( I never thought we were a chance) but more worryingly suddenly you are struggling to be in with a chance of top 4. Need a win badly now given other results.

Spurs worthy and comfortable winners over Chelsea and Liverpool worthy and comfortable winners over Watford. However, Chelsea have a clean pen not given when it is 1-0 and watford have a not as clean penalty, but still a pen not given at 0-0.
Small moments change games.
Spurs were flying and to be pegged back to 1-1 having dominated might have deflated them and woken Chelsea up.
Similarly Liverpool weren’t playing well, as soon as they went 1-0 up they had the confidence that they’d keep the clean sheet and win the game. But if they go 1-0 down, when not playing well and watford and their crowd get up for it it’s a totally different challenge

Surprised at how normal Sperz made Chelsea look. Great midfield passing into gaps for their attackers. Puts Chelsea in a bit more perspective perhaps.
Not sure if an Arsenal v Sperz or Arsenal v Chelsea is bigger than a Sperz v Chelsea these days in terms of stature. Maybe tradition wins out and the NLD is still the most anticipated local derby as it was historically. Not being in London, I wouldn't know but its a guess.

Yeah it looked like a clear pen on hazard. The fact that he dived later in the box might tell you why he didn’t get it based on his reputation. Luiz is a calamitous sometimes, watching him fly past and out of shot when son checked inside and scored was hilarious. Chelsea never got to grips with the Totts press, looked all out of sorts. Not sure they’re using Kante to his strengths as Jorginho sat in that space and didn’t do a lot. I’m glad Chelsea aren’t unbeaten now, but I want Tottenham to crash in the burniest of ways. Ugh the conflict.

Yep that’s two teams in a row who have had a plan to stifle Jorginho and it is stifled Chelsea. I think in the Everton 0-0 game Jorginho had half the number of passes he usually does.
I understand that Sarri wants the conductor type as his holding mid but then he is wasting Kante as a box to box, he has the athleticism but not the technique or passing. If Chelsea are intent on Jorginho being first choice there then the smart decision would actually be to sell Kante to PSG for £100m plus and reinvest in players that suit their system - which Kante doesn’t at the moment

Pathetic ref. Bournemouth take their free kick quickly and immediately lose it, arsenal break but the ref lets Bournemouth take it again. I thought if the ref had said to the taker to wait for the whistle and you took it quickly you were booked for unsporting behaviour

On the balance of the season so far we’ve had more than our fair share of luck. A few og but more importantly quite a few decisive ref calls in our favour. Today’s offside looked just on, there was the Liverpool non goal, a pen for Leicester that I can also remember
