Bare bones in defence. Lichtsteiner at left back. Medley the only defender available on the bench
Iwobi, Özil, Mkhitaryan behind Lacazette. Aubameyang, Ramsey, Welbeck on the bench

So all the football fans and commentators in the UK have it wrong then, and have had for at least the last 50 odd years?

Hmm. I’ll stick with the British way.

No, the UK commentators are 100 percent right. John was saying I was grammatically incorrect probably because he thought Americans were taught the same grammar rules.

No one has an issue when I don't use a 'u' when I write labor or honor because they know Americans are taught differently.

Haven't seen much football lately. About to watch Emery's Arsenal for the first time. Two thoughts so far.

Carragher is still a tosser. And I didn't realise Johnny Giles was managing Leicester.

Good job that Leno seems to be a good shot stopper. Rather essential with our defence

Leicester City appear well organized so far. We're going to have some trouble breaking them down.

We find it hard against Vardy. Add to that our unbeaten run has to end sometime, our winning run against Leicester at home and the fact neither Arsenal or Leicester have been involved in a draw this season I'm with you Bernard. 2-2 for me.

Your arse.

We got out of jail on that one (Holding's hand ball).

At the moment the bigger issue seems to be keeping them out. Scary stuff

Mkhitaryan is going to get hooked at half time. Having no impact at all

If arsenal are picking up yellows that is the same tackle by Maddison. Poor from the ref

Those Özil slide rule finishes where he passes it into the net are pure class.

Another official annoyance. Leicester player miles offside so doesn’t try to play the ball, mustafi picks it up then the offside player closes him down. He should then be flagged offside because he’s gained an advantage

Goal for Leicester woke us up, nice finish to the half. Impressive keeping from Leno he's looking a good buy.

Mkhitaryan is lazy and ineffective. Drop him for good.

I think you're being a bit harsh there g7. I thought he improved as the half went on.

Mkhitaryan and barn door seem to be linked together in the past few minutes :sad5:

For a long time we’ve needed a dribbler in the team, someone willing to commit a defender to a tackle rather than just well drilled defensive covering. Iwobi is that player for us right now. Making things happen with his directness. Often taking two men each time

Good to see refs still have no intention of dealing with time wasting
