I think you need to read up on Sanders. You clearly don't know his politics.

Have to agree to suggest sanders plays identity politics is a ridiculous statement. He opposes it strongly ...

Are you being serious?

Seemingly. Presumably based on some fake news about Sanders playing to the white base? There was quite a lot of that about at one point. Who knows.

I really hope both Henry and Vieira become top coaches. Martinez had glowing things to say about Henry. He seems to have little doubt Henry will do well and even said Henry may manage Arsenal one day.

Reiss Nelson with a 30 yard free kick, scoring on his first start for the eng u21 to follow up a goal and assist when he came on as sub for his debut earlier in the week.
The Hoffenheim move is doing him the world of good, glad he signed the long term deal before he went, City must be annoyed they couldn’t get Jadon Sancho to do the same

Now to get Smith-Rowe a similar path. 2019-2020 is looking good for us.

Counting the chickens before they are hatched. No matter what, better than when the previous regime kept relying on already impotent cocks to impregnate the infertile hens.

This is kinda cool. At first I thought this NBA player was a foreign player or raised overseas or played or lived overseas like Kobe Bryant (Milan fan I think). But no, he's an American born and bred player and loves football and I'm guessing would rather play it if he had the skillset for it. I assume he's a gooner as well unless he visited other clubs.
His visit to Ashburton Grove, yes, I'm still not going to refer to it by its corporate sponsored name (hat tipped to Babu)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_S-Ij89Wsw

his highlights.

I had the same problems at first with the striker, but a slightly different timed nudge on R3 will get him away from the defender.
This is the best one yet. By far, especially with our Thursday Night Cup in it now!

I haven’t it’s crap.

The majority of games are draws because of the changes, it’s like playing noughts and crosses now. The goals scored are typically because of mistakes rather than good play.

From wengers comments it sounds like he knows where he’s going next.

Rumour is he’s likely to be announced PSG general manager from January

Where he'll possibly do the same job as has been done by directors of football at other clubs. A post he wasn't happy about Arsenal taking anybody on for.

I dug around a few streaming sites to watch Fever Pitch again. Just for one scene. The scene where he asks his father to take him to see the Arsenal and his father said "I thought you'd outgrow it by now"...."I'll never outgrow it!!"

This was the kind of stuff exiled would be interested in...as well as one or two who shall go un-named. :42laughter:

Arsenal announce plans to honour founder
Arsenal have announced that they are planning to pay a proper tribute to one of the club’s founders David Danksin.

It was revealed in September by CoventryLive that Danskin, who died 69 years ago, is lying in an unmarked grave in the London Road Cemetery in Coventry.

The discovery was made after an investigation by Ian Woolley, the chairman of the London Road Cemetery and Coventry City historian Lionel Bird.

Since then, conversations have been going on between Arsenal, Woolley, local historians, Arsenal supporters groups and Danksin’s family and plans have now been put in motion to honour the Scot, who was born in 1863, next year.

This story may have some legs to it because Emery has worked with him before and we need defenders. Liverpool's Moreno transfer possible?

Are you saying you hadn't blocked Exiled after all? Because he was one of the people who thought you were lying about having blocked people, and if my memory serves was the first to suggest that.

Rumors abound of Wenger going to PSG or even Bayern Munich. If either happens I wish him well. I really do. My fear is he will crash and burn and if he does, I won't be surprised. He seems way too stubborn to change things about himself and his tactics, etc. In today's footballing world you pretty much have to win from the onset, especially at the huge mega clubs. PSG and Bayern the league title is a given, its the CL he will be judged on and he's never won it.
Personally I think a national team job suits Wenger better. And not a major power like France either. But a smaller European side or even an African side. Right now, I think he needs to get back to basics. Arsenal has been his world for 22 years and then move up from there.

What hasn't been talked about much is just how much we missed having Santi in the side while he was out. He was the oil in the machine prior and we never really recovered after. Özil did a decent job in spurts but had Santi stayed healthy, we would have fared much better. I'm not saying we'd win the league or anything like that, but I think we might have even avoided 6th place.

Naughty Warrior, very naughty. :99big-emoticons:

Hmmm...what if Wenger joined a mega club, became wildly successful winning the CL in his first or 2nd season. I wonder how the gooners (myself included) who wanted him out would feel that he should have been given a bit more time.

How well has he done well at Chelsea? There he's scored 5 goals in 26 games, a ratio of 1 goal every 5.2 games. Welbeck has scored 31 goals in 121 games for Arsenal, a significantly better ratio of 1 goal every 3.9 games.

But that hasn't stopped some Arsenal fans moaning that Welbeck doesn't score enough, so imagine what they'd say about Giroud if they supported Chelsea.

Same issue he had at Arsenal. Very good link up player but his scoring record is poor. Better finisher than Welbeck though

I'm not convinced Welbeck is a bad finisher. His goal per minutes on the pitch equates, from memory, to a goal every little more than every two games. Yes he has missed some sitters. But off hand I can't recall all that many.

It has

They basically set up a press conference to have a go at the media for reporting their bad performances ! Nothing to do with Wenger

I think we are going to miss Welbeck more than Ramsey.

Very under rated player considering the role he does for the team.

------------

I'm totally convinced we are set for World domination now.... :bs:

Really irks me when they pull out this nonsense about values, history and tradition, none of this has anything to do with Kroenke wanting to feather his already bloated nest which is what the self-sustaining model is really all about.

Good luck this season (because of the fans and a lesser extent the players) but I'd be a liar if I said I cared that much anymore, I like to treat people as they treat myself and we all know what Stan and co. think of us.

Whatever....
