Owen Coyle?

Tim Sherwood...Andre Villas-Boas? :1laughter:

Allegri and Jardim if we want young managers who play attacking football. Simeone if we want a cross between Conte and mourinho - would sort our defence and play on the counter.
Vieira and Arteta may have great careers ahead of them but not ready for us and the job after wenger.

There'll be no forgiving the mad professor if he plays a weak team tonight.

This is a semi final of a cup he has never won, anything short of a strong first team will be unforgivable.

Will wenger do his usual tactics, ignore the defence and off the ball and go for a basketball style game like the emirates.....which considering the chances we have Chelsea was amazing we got out with a 2-2 in the end. Or will wenger do what he’s only done a handful of times in his arsenal career and realise this is a 2 leg knock out completion, we’re ravaged with injuries and bad form and decide to make sure we stay in the tie at half time?

We’ve been out of the tie at half time in all our recent 2 legged matches

Arteta non, Patrick wee

I wouldn't mind Conte, he runs around his technical area like a little ferret. It's great to watch if you have seen Chelsea

I think we need mass change and revolution. I'd prefer not an Ancellotti type who has been there done and won it

So Iwobi's punishment for his late night partying is another start. No repercussions, wenger is terrified of conflict. Nelson should have started if he wanted to bench sanchez.

If wenger plays his normal way leaving that fragile back 3 exposed we're in for a hammering. wing backs need to hold back. Wilshere to play alongside Xhaka when out of possession. Stay solid and hope the front 3 might do something special or wait for set pieces.

Not optimistic at all.

That would be a turn up. Think you meant Holding. Although the way Holding played the other night we might be better off with the party boy at the back.

We'll see. The cameras will be trained on him sitting on the bench, waiting for him to laugh when Chelsea score.

Feels like there's only two options two night - a proper tonking (most likely), or one of those weird games where we defy all expectations and play on of our best games of the season. Have a hard time seeing this as a tight 1-0 affair.

Looking forward to Chambers passing the ball out directly to Hazard a few times and Mustafi being 10 yards behind the rest of the defensive line.

We could play Arsenal penalty bingo. Who is going to give away a penalty tonight.......I'll go for Mustafi

Mavropanos given number 27, indicating he is part of first-team squad (although yet to be officially confirmed). Also Joel Campbell has had his squad number taken away from him for second time in six months.

If you have a break with 4 againest 4. YOU HAVE TO PUT IT IN THE *%^@*** BOX

If you cut it back it's pointless

How on earth is that not a yellow card for Kante. From behind, nowhere near the ball, iwobi running at the back 4. As clear as you’ll ever see.

If we can find one positive in this terrible season it is the breakthrough of Maitland-Niles. Still plenty to learn but he doesn’t look out of place at all.

The resurgence of Jack Wilshere as well. Wonderful player.

Indeed. We kill most of our breaks like that. It's really annoying.

That’s where Niles has to do what hazard would have done. Moses makes a kick for the ball doesn’t get there and Niles hurdles the tackle in the box, just drag your leg force the contact and the ref would have to give the pen.

VAR in action tonight. You just know we will be the first to suffer from it

That is what makes me excited about mainland niles development, spots the inside run from hazard, tracks it and gets his body in front and eases hazard out and lets it run through to Ospina. Perfect full back play covering his centre half.

Not a bad half but we haven’t created anything at all

While wages and transfer fees go up ...I reckion skill levels have gone down Kante , Lacazette , Drinkwater shots towards Venus , Xhaka's free kick right down the throat of the keeper .

Mustafi and Holding's style of defending better suited to rugby .

Busy first half not much class on display .

Yeah I feared Mustafi was going to lunge and concede the pen for that move. Pleasing first half, really enjoying Jack Wilshere's performance so far. Xhaka having a good game too but needs to up his game on the set pieces.

Alan Smith quite right, Mustafi giving away a few silly free kicks in the last 5 minutes of the half. He should be doing better than that.

All to play for!
