In transfer windows past I thought arsenal had reached a new low. The summer after the 8-2 Man U springs to mind. Not really sure about Carlos Ancelotti, though at this point I would obviously not be against it. He’s been at a lot of big clubs and won a lot of trophies, but most of those teams were pretty much set when he arrived. His best period for me was with Milan when they reached the Champions League final three times in five seasons (and should’ve won all three). That team was largely built by Ancelotti as well.

Judging by the job he did at Bayern Munich, I wouldn't be thrilled if Ancelotti came to Arsenal. The only reason I wouldn't be against it is he isn't Wenger, which is the same reason I wouldn't be against anyone.
