Really hope he does away with the nonsense of monreal as a central defender.
Just cannot fathom the rationality of playing him there the last 2 games when holding was superb against city.
Played with supreme composure and confidence so why not give the boy a run???
Him kos and gabriel/mustafi today please.
Even had mertesacker fit as well and still played monreal there.
Just ridiculously stupid.
Welbeck up top today please.
Surely he isnt foolish enough to go with giroud up top again..........yep he is.

Wenger was never known as an advocate for defense. He inherited the back four and Sol came to us. My guess is Monreal adds to the attack. Free kicks or whatever, also a better passer. Its the only reason I can sort out.

Weakened team my arse.
Mourinho such a dick
Spent 90 million on one player and has a massive squad yet people humour his hard done by nonsense.
Glad to see holding and welbeck but still persists with monreal in a back 3?????

Soon have to start thinking about replacing Čech. Could do worse than bringing in fraser forster. Big size and commanding. Good shot stopper too. Always liked him.
Either him or schemichael at Leicester.

Szczesny?

No way he will play second fiddle to Čech Goonie

Why would Forster want to leave Southampton to come to us. They played superbly as a team with fire in it's belly up at Liverpool and came away with a point. Would we have?

Afternoon David.d, yes I would have Forster and both their fullbacks and their holding midfield player as well.
Watched Swansea and Everton yesterday and Mawson looked very good that's virtually the defence sorted for next season.

Some good news. I've just done the math.

As long as the 5 teams above us lose every game, and we win our next 8 games, the title is ours !

As long as the referees send off 2 players of the 5 teams above us, and 2 for the next 8 teams we play, the title is ours.

No idea what that was about. He was fine. Kos, Gibbs and Ox played well. Özil was very good too.

So United's unbeaten run leaves them 5th :15laughter:

Best we've seen of Xhaka in an Arsenal shirt. Some lovely passes. Ox, Kos, Holding excellent. Özil also played very well. Ramsey was superb. He was all over the park making important runs into the box giving us a presence in the area. Goals from a cross and a shot....the very things we've been crying out for! Well done Arsenal.

Now, finish above them, win the cup, Wenger walks away, Ajax or Celta win the Europa league... not a bad ending to the season after all that went before.

Course not he can't provide 20+ goals and 10 assists
