I have devised a registration trick to fool spambots. Now, when new members register, they will need to answer a simple question
instead of entering in a Captcha code which is sometimes difficult to read. (That's the crappy writing that people have to type in to prove their human.) Spambots will be unable to answer this easy question as they have no logic and are merely programmed to defeat the dated capcha trick so they will not be able to come in here to post their spam.

I have added a mod to the board so now I can change users post counts.

I'll take that as a yes. Just two questions for the mods....

1) How do I get my little 'jigger' on this site?
2) When you post what do you click on to get back to the forum where you left it?
3)..........

The forum looks great. Thanks to all those who have developed the site. I know that this would require a fair amount of time. Lets hope that people respect the rules that they have to sign up to.

Team Performances for Arsenal v Birmingham Emirates Stadium 12 January 2008

Alminia - Played well good save in first half and not much hope with the goal, not much else to do really.

Sagna - Another very good performance

Clichy - Quality, though a few mis=plaed passes towards the end when frustration was getting the better of the side in atatcking areas

Gallas - Solid

Sendy- Very good game

Cesc - Running at about 75%

Flamini - Another good game was everywhere.

Hleb - So classy and looks to be getting back to where he left off in the first half at Villa

Walcott - Felt sorry for him. Crowd willing him to do well, but fell short in match.

Eduardo - Was not in the game for large parts, but showed class when involved.

Ade - Once again was everywhere, battling and some good passing and lovely flicks, took his penalty well, right in the corner.

Subs..

Bendtner - Did OK, though wild shot at the end could have done better
Diaby - did not really have time to make impact

Ref watch - Thought he was superb, that's two good refs in two matches, are things looking up...

Sorry for being thick, but how do you get to the last post you read when logging in? It didn't appear to do it automatically for me, and I'd thus like to engage that particular function.

This board doesn't do that by default  - I am working on that bit right now - although not a deal breaker, it was a nice feature - I will post a link and message if/when I have accomplished this feature.

This board has a similar feature already " View unanswered posts | View active topics View new posts | View your posts "

Although very handy for heavily threaded forums, being a single threaded forum, the "Get New post" link for us would be better.
I might not be able to pull that off but I will continue trying.

Although some features may not appear available for the time being, there is a list of nearly 3,000 (three thousand) modification requests that people have made to the software developers. I think our "GetNewPost" might be in there if I am unable to devise a solution.

I think for the moment, if you save it to favourites each time before logging out, when logging back in you'll go to your last post...

Just checked it works... All you have to do each time is OK the over-write when asked that you already have it stored.

Further to my last question about the 'last post read' function, I'm just doing this one to get me to near where my message appeared.

Testing ..

This Link will go to the very last page with postings on it.

I think when there are more pages (> 10) I will be able to grab the little arrow which will point to the final page. The board isn't revealing extra links for now. I am still trying to find the link that takes it to an individuals last unread post. (If there is one to be found)

Well, it didn't bring back my old avatar...
I tried to upload from my computer and from the site I first found it on and the message was the same.... too big, too many pixels. Is there a way around this? :?

I have modified the entry link to this area so it goes to the top of the last postings page.

That may be as close as I can get it for now. The main PhpBB forum is very active and many people have this same (or a similar) request.

There seemed to be a mod for it but it was only released today and was a beta version. I might wait until they have looked into this a bit more. This beta version also loaded information into the database which was a tad scary.

From the worst kind of fan who does not see the big picture :!:

The unbeaten season had a 0-0 draw with Birmingham on the run in! We stole a Home point off Portsmouth that year as well, though it really was Pires who did.

We had the best christmas of any top team, with United losing to WHU and now we drew at home against a very organised Birmingham, and sometimes these results are a good thing as they remind the players that anything less than your best and any premiership team can do this.

the disappointemnt was tangible, and the players will respond for sure, just like United did after the WHU result.

Every team that wins the title will have these games, United have in each of theor wins, some poor performances at Home, but they always react, and that is more what we should look at, the next game, as that will tell you if anything is wrong at all, as watching the disappointment as they came off, you can see that the next game cannot come quick enough, so poor Fulham for me

For O and A levels, i was at aldenham school, small boarding school, striking distance from london colney, shenley where i gather arsenal train.

When i started there, story went that not long before, arsenal youth came to play our 1st Xl and thrashed aldenham 6-0, charlie george getting 4 or smthing. Just punched some searches in google to see if anything came up. None.

BUT....there were a couple of v recent pics of denilson helping run an arsenal soccer school there (arsenal.com link > http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?this ... er+schools ). Nice to find an arsenal connection to my old school and to see familiar buildings in the background (pic attached). The redbrick building was actually my House, Paulls House where I ate slept studied and drank for 5 and a bit years when 14-18 yrs old 1972-1978. The yellow brick building was the science labs. I love what google brings up when you search for smthing.

I have modified the skin so that in Internet Explorer, attachments and code posts no longer have a grey box around them. Firefox is Html compliant, it appears IE is not.
