I don't think I'm surprised any more at some of these ref and var calls against us. Anywhere else on the pitch that is a clear foul by James on Saka. When Luiz was doing those after the last 2 years he go called clumsy and only has himself to blame.

With all the work we've done in trying to upgrade the squad and we're playing the European champions with Cédric, Holding, Mari in a back 4. That is a bottom half of the table back 4. Tierney is the outlier in terms of the quality he can bring but I think this is one of the worst games I've seen Tierney have for us. He has to be at least partially at fault for both goals considering the space James had, and his delivery has been poor in attack as well.

We started with a bit of fight but right now our players just get absolutely zapped any time we concede. The belief that they will get anything from the game just goes and you can see it in the crowd as well.
