Trossard deserves to start but I can't help but think Martinelli with his direct dribbling and pace up against Azpilicueta would be a total miss-match

pretty loose play from both teams early on, lots of miss placed passes. Jorginho the only calm head out there

Great finish, in off the bar always looks better.
We'd taken control of the game after a messy start from both teams. Chelsea can't get out of their half

Yes, and he's happy using his right foot even when he could use his left for simple short passes - that may seem minor but far too often players force themselves on their favoured foot all the time.

Kiwior is playing as the right sided CB

Shout for a penalty for us, seen them given for handball. I think if the ref gave it var wouldn't overturn it.

2-0 - same combination, Xhaka from the left in low to Ødegaard, first time, bosh!

Ødegaard makes that finish look so much easier than it is. You see many pro's miss kick that with their standing foot.

First time side foot helping it on on its way, the pace is already on the ball from the cross. top class

I must admit I was slightly cautious about tonight, but clearly I hadn't watched enough of Chelsea -they are woeful

We owe them an absolute tonking. I want 5 or 6

I hate those decisions, Fofana is all over Jesus, must foul him 2 or 3 times then Jesus hands him off makes contact with the face and Fofana wins the free kick. Any other sport sees that the advantage is being played and when Jesus fouls him you stop play for the first offence as there was no advantage

Hat-trick of assists for Xhaka if you're being generous with the 3rd

3-0 HT

Excellent tempo, preying on their vulnerability. Chelsea aren't in this at all. We need to keep the foot on their throat.

Kiwior has been excellent in what he's had to do

Feck it TG, don't jinx it. I'd take a total borefest scoreless second half now.

Yeah, protect the clean sheet, nothing sloppy. put the foot down get a 4th and 5th then we can ring the changes.

We've had 3-0 leads before and 1 goal just makes things a bit nervous.

Ramsdale's save at 1-0 looks pretty big now, it was a good save as well. If we end up winning comfortably it will get forgotten but he's done this for us a few times this season particularly at home. Yes he made a big rick v Saints but he's been good

At 24 as well he's got a lot of time to get better.

Alisson 30, Ederson 29, De Gea 32, Lloris 36, Pope 31, Kepa 28, Martinez 30, Raya 27

Ramsdale is a baby in this league

Havertz on, will give our back 4 a lot more to think about. We need to stay concentrated.

I think they said Aubameyang had just 9 touches and 4 of them were kick offs.

Carragher saying getting rid of him was one of the best things Arteta has done

and there is the absolutely weakness of Azpilicueta against anything tricky and pacey. He's done at the top level.

How on earth is it not a yellow card. Awful decision. He just cleaned him out when Jesus was passed him, no attempt to play the ball.

Trossard off Martinelli on. Should be running at Azpilicueta on a yellow - isn't because of a ref giving chelsea sympathy
