Rumours are inter Milan will come in with a big bid for Aubameyang in the summer if they sell their striker Martinez, with Barca looking at him.
For me this is the ideal scenario for us. A club with money to burn after a big sale, needing to make a statement and so go big for Aubameyang.

I don’t think we can afford any new deal for Aubameyang and we can’t afford to let him run his deal down so the best decision is to sell him to the highest bidder this summer

Stayed up and watched it through the night

Big mistake I’m *%^@*** knackered now.

He was brilliant actually and i quite like he admits he’s got issues, just an average bloke.

Also if he fights Joshua he’ll batter him too mark my words

Unfortunately, Aubameyang will also not want to stay around if we do not get ECL next season. He does not have a lot of playing years left, However, he might also want to run down his contract in hope of an offer from a team better placed to win the ECL. We need the funds to land a very strong midfielder. And if it is Aubameyang we need to let go, I agree we should do it.

Kolasinac in, Saka on the bench, Eddie starts again, Lacazette on the bench, Pépé starts, no sign of Martinelli (injury?).

Bollo. Not a great start.

So much for our run of clean sheets. Defence with a huge hole.

High boot for the overhead kick?

Yes, I was hoping for a VAR reprieve but sadly not to be.

Fair warning that if we commit too many up front they can hit us on the break - two decent opportunities for them, could have been two.

Kolasinac not looking at all good (being replaced by Saka). Could be serious

The offside defensive line was a shambles but the more I watch it I just can’t believe that it wasn’t ruled out. His boot is higher than Luiz head and Luiz is going for the header and only a few inches from his boot. Can’t believe var didn’t intervene either. I think that gets ruled out far more often than not.
Put it this way, if the ball went over the bar from the overhead kick I guarantee there is a free kick.

Pleased to see Saka on the pitch, but not under these circumstances.

Once again we lose a player to injury during a game, another defender as well. I’d love to see the stats for it because I’d wager we have far more than other teams.

The early goal has made things very difficult. Everton well organised behind the ball with quick runners to hit on the counter.

Saka is just awesome. Lays it on for the ‘Leeds reject’. Nice one Eddie.

My over riding frustration with officials is there is no consistency and far too often we seem to be the ones that get the rough end, or the ‘special’ decision/rule that is never enforced for anyone else.
Aubameyang straight red and just in the next month we see Sterling, Maguire and Lo Celso all get away with straight reds.
I see a couple of fouls Pépé hasn’t been given in the box this season and look at the consistent penalties salah, Kane, son get for making the most of any contact.
Our players get booked for dissent pretty quickly but Vardy and others can swear in the refs face when they don’t get a decision they like.
That overhead kick today is clearly dangerous play considering how close Luiz head is to the ball/boot

All so incredibly frustrating

Agreed. We've got to tie him down to a new contract asap.

Yay!!!! Great through ball from Luiz for Aubameyang

So now he’s set up two goals, one for them and one for us.

He’s the best young player we’ve had since Cole. He’s so good he could play in several positions. He plays with 100% confidence and fears nobody at all. He’s been nothing short of sensational this season, if we don’t sort it several clubs could offer silly money as players like him don’t grow on trees

Oops. Not great from Leno.

We’ve returned to conceding joke comedy goals.

So my commentator says richarlison boot is high and his studs are up but sometimes your gk has to put his head and chest in a position where he risks getting boots and studs to the head!

Unbelievable

5 minutes added time. With the two var checks there was 2 min 30 seconds used up in those 5 minutes. Ref blows up bang on 5 minutes.
If they can’t even understand that more time needs adding on if there are delays during added on time what chance do we have of any of the important decisions being right - and that goes for any team. Officiating again this weekend has been atrocious

We have it in us to win this one. Arteta half-time magic needed again.

Saka ..... what a player! Eddie deserved his goal.

Luiz, a wonderful pass. Aubameyang looked liked TH14 scoring for us again. So cool!

Yep, two from the much heralded newly re-opened Arsenal Comedy School of Defending.

Poor organisation and concentration for the first, no idea what Kola was doing and then Leno not brave enough for the second.

Disagree- I would have been very disappointed if we'd scored a goal like this and had it chalked off. He had every right to go for the ball and he had to stretch out to make contact.
