Obvious foul from hojlund on Saliba just ignored. There is a reason we’ve struggled at Utd. *%^@ these *%^@ so much. Hope the team gets a massive pep talk from Arteta at HT and starts to show up.

Ødegaard's game is off.

Partey off it, Rice having no influence, Odegard loose. We need someone to give us some confidence here. Thank goodness for Trossard.

Also they are winning the tackles. Haavertz for a big guy loses a lot of duels.

I'd rather Jorginho tbh.

Yeah, too early to change it but I would.

Sitting back a bit too much for my liking.

Scoreline is good. Performance isn't. Passing is much too slow and inaccurate.

Absolutely Dec. We need more purpose and pace in the second half.

Getting nothing from the ref, and if you smash them back you get the crowd up. We played quite well right up until the goal. Then a few defensive lapses a lot instigated by Partey and it shifted and never shifted back.

I think absolutely take him off for Jorginho. Bit worrying is the anonymous performances by Ødegaard and Rice. We need them to dominate this midfield. I can’t really see what’s happening tactically tbh.

I’m not sure he does usually though.

Get. Partey. Off. The. Pitch. Now.

He’s going to give this game away.

He's having a terrible game. His strength is half-turn and speed of passing. But today he is slowing everything down.

Finally an attack. I saw a good pass into Saka from Partey there too.

Why are we so ponderous playing out?
What is Arteta's strategy here?

Timber will take White's spot next season. No doubt in my mind unless Arteta plans to use him on the left.

We are stuck in first gear after that goal. No sense of urgency.

Fear. Seen this performance 4 or 5 times this season in the big games. This team doesn’t quite believe at the very highest level just yet. Not that this is it. They seem to playing the occasion and not the game.
