Loving that there was a proper celebration from Havertz there. None of this apologetic stuff against your old team. Chelsea fans have ripped him apart all season and delighted in any miss step. Havertz and Chelsea fans deserve that goal (even if it probably shouldn’t have counted!)

Very luckily. Its 3-0 but it could easily by 3-3.

Right. I want 4 or 5 here. Chelsea are such a weird side atm, but bloody hell we’re odd too sometimes in front of goal.

If we say Chelsea ‘could’ have scored 3 then we ‘could’ have scored 10!

This is what we can do to teams who don’t have a proper defensive structure. Woeful that Chelsea spent the thick end of £250m on Enzo and Caicedo to protect their back 4

Glad Partey did well tonight. Helps with his confidence.

Pundit said we haven't scored 4 goals at home vs Chelsea in 36 years.

Sperz away will be far, far more difficult. Our present form notwithstanding, the NLD has draw written all over it. But we'll see. Are sperz able to do the low block counter? They might try the Villa strategy.

Imagine what we might have done to Chelsea if they’d been rightly reduced to 10 men after 8 minutes.

I really want 6 for Wenger’s revenge

We've played better than City on a few occasions. We've looked the toughest team in the league to beat on a few occasions. Problem is City is just more consistently good. Their experience in winning the games they should , pouncing on slip ups by rivals.

Ødegaard still running around and harrying fresh as a daisy. :laughing7: :laughing7:

After those two body blows, these last too games have been pretty special. Amazing resilience.

Ah Martinelli clean through, shame he needs to rebuild his confidence. He looked sharp apart from that.

That’s what I call a dominant second half. Well done.

That was a lot better than 1-0 off the referees arse.

Yes, he was superb as well. Remember when all the paper talk said he'd be going to Chelsea? We've got a proper player there.

Would be such a shame to lose a title by couple of points against the City juggernaut.

The biggest thing for me tonight was the speed we played forward. Partey was a big part of that and we found Ødegaard in pockets and he was superb creativity.

It also meant we got the ball out to our wide men much quicker to allow them more 1v1 opportunities, they didn’t always take them on and beat them but it allowed our wide players to drive at them and push them back in to their box then options opened up for us.

For me that’s our best midfield 3 and it should be rolled out for as many minutes as possible for the rest of the season
