That’s pathetic refereeing. There are times you have to stop the game for the foul, that was an awful foul on Havertz. Studs on the ankle and then deliberately followed through with the scissors for good measure.
Then Rice picks up a yellow in the frustration of the ref not stopping the game when it was clear Havertz was badly hurt

Where is the supposed advantage the ref is playing when it leaves us playing with 10 men because the tackle was so bad

Sorry, but okay, you got a hard foul on your foot or shin. Staying down to stop the run of play is happening a bit too much. Get the eff up. Football in England has changed. The increased amount of foreigners have changed it, especially southern Europe and South America, and I won't leave out the African countries as well. Yes, I'm going to go there. It's getting a bit too much. The British players are now doing it as a matter of course.

We're off our game. We are threatening but no end product.

Trossard! -0. Is it a lucky finish or an amazing finish? Probably a bit of luck with it slicing off his boot and finding the top corner

Very good from Jesus for the assist. Got his body in front of the defender, went down, got up and laid it off for Leo

Love that from Saka there. He’d been booted around by Toti at least 4 fouls, then he saw the chance to give him a big shoulder charge and out muscled Toti in the corner. There was some aggression and frustration in that.

By the way, has there ever been a young English player doing well for the national team who is so routinely booed at away grounds? I know the treatment Beckham got was far worse. But Saka is booed every week because he gets fouled.

Trossard is the best finisher at the club, his strike might have had a touch of luck, but it was similar enough to the strike v Everton that you’d maybe give him the benefit of the doubt that he might for it to fade away from the gk. He’s very good at those 1 touch strikes in the box

We're extremely lucky Raya decided to stand tall and not go to ground for that shot on goal. I've lost faith in Kiwior for the most part.

Big test in the second half considering the drop off in energy levels in the last 2 games

Never offside that one. I thought if Lino’s weren’t sure they are meant to keep the flag down? How could he have been sure on that?

We got the free kick for the foul on Saka but the barge in to the back of Trossard should be a yellow. It’s totally deliberate with no attempt to challenge for the ball or no chance of winning it

We do overcomplicate. Why not occasionally hit the free kick direct?

Ref sees the arm in the face give the free kick but no yellow.

Wolves racking up the fouls this half for sure

Boot in the chin of Jesus now. Ref needs to start taking proper action here.

I can see what will happen, these fouls are let go without cards so wolves are encouraged to be more physical. The crowd really start getting on top of the ref and before you know it the decisions start to follow. I get too nervous at these sorts of situations

I assume Arteta said shoot from distance at halftime.

Our shooting from outside the box is truly awful. No one in the team seems to be able to consistently make pure contact on the ball

Not so hot inside the box either.

Wolves are leaving loads of gaps at the back. We need to exploit it. Oh for a top class striker.

No you're not. Jesus won't score so take him off and put one of those two on.

Seems Arteta has realised this at last. It was becoming surreal.

Look at all the soft free kicks being given to wolves now. I saw this coming

I don't think we are knackered. We've seen this many times before. We slow things down and become more conservative. It's hard to watch.

Finally, 2-0, Ødegaard. Great win given the week just gone. Looks like 6 consecutive away clean sheets as well.

Much better after the sub, though. Rice has been immense.

Ødegaard :22encouragement: :22encouragement:

Definitely not knackered, clearly not going full tilt but there is enough in the tank here that we’ve held wolves at arms length. Look at Ruce driving through the midfield countless times, no way he looked knackered 2nd half.

Hard work made of that, but in control and a win is a win is a win.
