If I was Aubameyang I wouldn't be joining this bunch of amateurs for the peak years of my career, not a chance.

In a nutshell this game is showing everything that is wrong with us. Bang average players in every position. Awful coach. No tactics. Slow
Play. No creativity. No shots. No pace. So easy to open up. Mistakes. No concentration. No effort. No desire. Poor attitude. Poor off the ball.

Today’s team effort is relegation standard

Dyer misses a sitter. Handed to him on a plate by mustafi.

This really, really should be 5/6-1. Swansea have totally dominated us all over the pitch.

We need to bomb so many of these players out of the club, but let’s start with the manager

Away from home not only are team not scared of us, they genuinely believe and expect to win.

Our style of football just plays directly in to the hands of a bottom of the table team low on confidence. Run hard, close down, tackle hard and you’ll get your own crowd behind you, then that same hard work will be rewarded when arsenal serve up chances to you

Mika hits a cross-shot across the 6 yard box and Lacazette is on the edge of the penalty area ffs!

How many points have we thrown away from winning positions?
Watford, Bournemouth, West Brom, Liverpool, Swansea all off the top of my head

Most of this team are more interested in playing one touch than ever lifting their head up and realising there is. Chance to turn and run or pass towards goal. It is totally drilled in to them and it is mind numbing to watch

What a load of garbage. Why Aubameyang is thinking of joining this shower of shite is hard to fathom. Start with Wenger out and go from there.

Bellerin does my head in, one of the quickest players in the PL but he gets the ball out wide and turns back and plays the ball inside. Can he not take the fullback on occasionally? All he needs to do is kick it fowards and run after it.

It's just bollocks defending.

It really is time Wenger ditched this playing without a defence lark.

Pleased not to be watching this. From the text feed it reads as being truly grim and entirely in keeping with much of this season.

3-1. 2 attackers v 5 defenders and the gk. goal

Fully deserved Swansea. Please everyone give wenger both barrels. This is a joke of a club.

This was supposedly the BEST man to take us forward.

Oh wow.....

More poor defending from Arsenal and Swansea capitalise to take a giant step towards another three points. it all stems from Monreal's awful attempt at a clearance and Ayew picks up the ball and runs at Mustafi. The defender gets a foot in but Clucas reacts quickest, stealing in to turn the ball past Čech.

100% agree. Wenger has brought the Arsenal standard of play further down. It has been happening year upon year upon year. Yet, he is still around. Yet, he continues to spew rubbish. He only buys rejects for the team. Year upon year upon year, the overall standard of the team gets worse and worse. Again I would state, we have not had a proper leader on the pitch for years. And it is Wenger's fault.

Signing new centre backs is an utterly pointless exercise if you sit Xhaka and el nenny in front of them

This is officially a mid table team punching above the weight of its relegation quality manager.

If this is all wenger can do with arsenal I genuinely think he would comfortably relegate half the teams in this league were he in charge of them

Shameful stuff.

If I was Aubameyang I'd be back on that plane to Dortmund tout suite and join a proper football club in the summer.

Results like this and the away crowd will probably turn against the manager again. Wenger's only saving grace is that our home form is decent which should dampen the anger at home matches.

Exactly what is the point of Wenger staying another season beyond this??. We are a complete mess from top to bottom.

I want city to stuff us in the final. Had it

Our cup successes are hampering our ability to move on. A win in the final provides another get out of jail card. Beating city would be a disaster

Is there an EPL manager that any of the forum wouldn't take over Wenger? Even Moyes or Alladyce would do a better job with these players.

Remember that Swansea played at the weekend whilst we had 7 days rest. Players should be ashamed that they were outworked and outfought by that team.

Agreed and it pains me to say it. As much as I have grown to dislike Wenger I hate wanting the team to lose.

Any win, and any cup final victory is welcomed. If it means Wenger staying, so be it.

Disaster players all over the pitch.

Čech is gone, dinosaur of a gk - so far away from what a modern gk at a big club is
Bellerin looks bored all out there on his own patrolling the entire right flank
Monreal is ok, but the goal masks some
Poor mistakes
Kos has been better but mustafi must go, liability
Xhaka has to be sold now, another liability, you don’t pay £35m for someone to just sit and pass it sideways and offer no protection off the ball
Elneny - just meh
Iwobi - going backwards
Ramsey - indulged too much, flicks and one touch but no basic substance to his game
Özil - needs to get out now for his own sake
Lacazette - has a player ever come with such expectations and regressed so quickly?

One of the most uninspiring 11’s put out by arsenal and a performance to match

Impossible to dream up scenarios but whatever gets wenger out of the club the quickest gets my vote. Actually, whatever gets arsenal back to the top positions challenging for major trophies gets my vote. The two statements are effectively the same thing

We performed up to expectations. For those who wanted Sanchez to leave your reward has arrived. The new bloke had 20 minutes to impress and just sauntered around. He will fit in well because no one else closes down players or is skilful enough to play defence splitting balls.

This is the exact same performance we did at WBA and Bournemouth when Wilshire played.

No use buying Aubameyang if you don’t give him the chances in the box.

Sky's description on what just happened:

It's an Arsenal horror show! The main blame lies with Čech, whose awful clearance gifts Ayew with a tap in. However, Monreal's quick throw-in to Mustafi is not great. Neither is Mustafi's back pass to Čech, and the goalkeeper's awful attempt at a clearance tops off the comedy of errors. You'll have to see it to believe it!

Get a load of this guy , on holiday in Antigua and he's checking on Arsenal .....????
Do a bit of fishing , snorkelling , get some Jamacian rum into you , talk the Missus into an afternoon lie down , a bit of sunbathing , glass bottom boat coral viewing .

Swansea City midfielder Sam Clucas: "We felt we could play a bit more, Arsenal give you a bit more time than Liverpool. I thought we deserved the win.

Yet another opposition player openly showing how easy it is to play against us if you put a simple game plan in to affect. The thing that always amazes me is that every single team doesn’t play this way against us.

Time to drop Xhaka and give AMN a go. I’d also be firmly in favour of giving Nelson a go instead of elneny.

League games are basically pointless from here on in anyway, 7th more likely than any higher than we currently are.

I can only think of a very poor Sunderland team a few years ago who rank as low as us for such an obvious set of players who don’t give a sh*t. Team spirit, respect, desire and just enjoyment is all gone and it is all down to wenger and the spineless board who retained him. Between them all they have signed arsenal fc’s Death certificate for the next 5-10 years because that is how long I think it will take us to come back from this mess
