Try DHD, apparently the club can’t even give tickets away these days.

Arsenal’s women’s team have an average attendance this season higher than 9 premier league men’s clubs

Gidday G7 ...why don' t you write directly to the club ; explain you are coming from Singapore , life long Arse supporter , hoping to see the Everton game . See what they say , never know your luck ...?

I wrote to Bertie Mee once ; said I was from NZ could I possibly tour Highbury Stadium .

He wrote back a lovely letter explaining all tours were booked for the next nine months ; but if it suited my goodself he'd arranged for me to join an existing tour in two weeks time .

As luck would have it the goddamn oil rig I was working on in Trinidad at the time called me back a week early so I missed out .

In 18 away games in all competitions this season we’ve scored first in 14 of them. Added on to our away record last year we’ve improved amazingly.

Also we have only lost 3 big 6 games since the start of last season, for years we regularly lost these games every year, barely even a sniff of a win, another huge improvement.

This is a great video of Raya, catching crosses but even more importantly the quick releases every time, he’s already beaten the first line of the press. It’s the quick turnover when the defending team might not be in their defensive shape. For me he’s improved us

He has been good with the throws recently and clearly they’ve finally watched a Lehmann video or two. I’m surprised at his catching of crosses given that Ramsdale is around 2 inches taller.

Yeah think I mentioned this to Decaf the other day. Going into any match and knowing we’re not just going to get rolled over is a nice feeling. Btw I hope we firmly stuff Newcastle to put their antagonistic play style right back in its box. Maybe a sending off for Trippier as an added bonus.

Gabriel and Saliba are for me the best defensive partnership in the league, it’s maybe not spoken about enough that we signed this pair for £50m combined at the ages of 23 and 18.

Individually they are both in the top 5 CB in the league for me, where else in the league has anyone recruited such quality, at such a young age for such a small price?

Saliba went from not even good enough to train at Colney and had to go out on loan to one of the best CBs in the league and Europe as a whole.

Water under the bridge, but my 'Spider senses' says he was good enough to at least be on the bench all along an just needed minutes to get acclimated to the pace and physicality of the league.

Sloppy start, and a yellow for Rice.

Take Rice off for Jorginho. The Portuguese will be play acting like hell.

We need to get it to Martinelli and Saka quicker. There is space behind their defense.

Listening to Arsenal radio coverage but seems we are pretty blunt. They keep saying they will run out of puff: I hope so. Our EG for first half .26: out possession 71%.

Porto made way more of their few opportunities. They really should be up 1-0. We have not had any decent shot at goal.

A clear policy. The think is the ref isn't giving too many frees to them. Also Odegard needs to have a quiet word with the referee.

Cagey. Porto definitely carry a threat so we're right not to take liberties. But I felt we had the opportunity to play the ball over the top a couple of times and just didn't take it. We were a bit more purposeful towards the end of the half, with Saka coming into the game more.

If we retain the lions share of the possession and keep the passes tight, we can get out of town with a 0-0 draw. I'd prefer a scoring draw but looks like we won't score unless we are down 1 nil and desperate.

Second half we are either going to have to score from a corner or show them something different than the usual pattern of predictable passes.

They are backing into our players and then falling over when they get out the way. Ridiculous.

Too much fannying around on the ball and too slow moving the ball through the lines.

Get the ball out to Saka and Martinelli quicker. By the time they get it the space has been closed down.

Why doesn't Gabriel play the ball into Martinelli as soon as he gets it, he always turns back inside and gives the ball to Saliba or Rice. One touch and get it into Martinelli's feet.

We've had 70% possession but zero real threat.

Porto 30% possession and could have had two goals.

That said Saliba and Havertz should both have scored

Sub Rice. A second yellow could come with any tackle.

Warned as well. Porto have gotten away with a lot worse and no yellows.

Havertz also guilty a couple of times of knocking the ball back to midfield when he needs to drive forward or get it wide.

Yep. Typical Portuguese nonsense. The ref isn't really buying though.

I think this game is a good example of why we need a No.9.
