Mistake laying out from the back, not getting up quick enough to play their striker offside and we’re 1-0 down. Wasted chances and confidence is now going to be totally drained

Just given Bournemouth something to defend and counter. Suits players who really have got nothing else but run and work hard.

Opposing players only have one simple instruction. Run hard and fast at the Arsenal defence and they will panic sufficiently for you to find a goal.

Biggest difference is the intensity that Bournemouth attackers run at our defence compared with us against them. Lacazette and Nelson both a bit half paced and not willing to really back themselves to beat their man

Now playing a motivated team in the rain, crowd in full voice. And why? *%^@*** around at the back strikes again. If your facing your own goal under pressure just play it long!!

Not good, we are in a relegation scrap

It's such a topsy-turvey season. Only 12 points between 17th and 4th as things stand and even Watford don't look like no hopers.

Nelson has been pony. I'd get Pépé on.

We keep playing Özil so it can't be that. Simply inexplicable.

Saka and Nelson final cross has been absolutely dreadful, and despite that we’ve still created a lot. Should not be losing this. Plenty of lapses of concentration in attack.

Overall a really positive start to the game. Lots to be positive about but a real shame we are one down as Bournemouth don't really merit it.

I don’t mind the general principle of trying to pass out of defence rather than hoof it, but the important part is to have the intelligence that sometimes we’ll have played ourselves in to trouble or the opposition get their press spot on and we just need to hoof it to clear our lines

Football's a cruel game at times. I thought we played with more intensity with and without the ball than we have all season today and created numerous excellent situations but our final ball was lacking. Then Bournemouth score against the run of play.

I'm not totally sure that Lacazette in the middle with Aubameyang out wide really works. I think Aubameyang's extra pace through the middle might have got him in on the end of some of those Lacazette half chances.

Playing out from the keeper totally sucks. High risk, low reward.

Devastating when practiced by players of our quality.

unfortunately the front players are off their game so far. The crossing has been poor and our strikers haven't got their shooting boots on.

Yeah I had the same thought about those Lacazette chances. So. Frustrating. Is Martinelli injured? You’d love him to let loose for a half. Nelson a bit ponderous sometimes, he’s been better when he’s really driven forward hard and done things at pace. And yes woeful crossing from both wings. Aubameyang has been crap btw.

No, not with a minute left. Take him off just as the referee is about to blow for half-time

And now I have to listen to Pulis. No. No. As if watching wasn’t excruciating enough.

.
It's about now Mikel is thinking "why on earth did I leave City " He's upped our intensity , desire etc but our passing remains abysmal , crossing super abysmal , finishing awful , ball distribution going forward awful .

We just can't manage that really fast approach that has defences at sixes and sevens .

Thank God the transfer window is just around the corner .

In 7 of our last 8 in the league we’ve conceded the opening goal. The other game was the 0-0 at Everton.

So few teams win games having conceded first in this league, any team

In terms of teams, form and fixtures we’ve been handed an absolute gift over the last 8 or so games. Everyone apart from Leicester was in terrible form when we played them

Two annoying sloppy moments that we must cut out. Simple throw in and whoever threw it in made it bounce up high to the receiver who then had a bad touch and we lose the ball under hardly any pressure. That is the detail we need to not accept

Aubameyang booked for the celebration. Are we literally the only team who get players booked for going near the crowd to celebrate!!?

Lacazette has to score there. Finishing has been really poor today. Could have even gone down and got their man sent off

Arsenal have a man injured on our own goal line and the ref doesn’t stop the game

We would not have got a penalty. Lacazette is known to dive too easily.
