Why are we not wrapping Saka and Ødegaard in cotton wool? Boneheaded.

So you play the advantage after the clearest yellow card you’ll ever see but the ref doesn’t then book the player. It’s pathetic refereeing

This referee is unwilling to book Bournemouth players

4-0 Ben White. Lovely cross again from Ødegaard’s wand of a left foot. Absolute stroll.

Nearly 5 from smith rowe, could have had an absolute hatful today.

Wonderful display.

Man U lost at home
Man City lost at Wolves

Looking forward to one or both of Liverpool or spurs dropping points later

All good. :58big-emoticons:

If Saka wasn’t sharing penalties around he could be on 7 goals from 7 games in the league.

I posted last week about it being a pleasant change is getting some penalties and wondered whether it was a factor in the way teams are setting up in deep blocks against us, we’re getting in to the area more - and maybe getting a bit more streetwise

Spurs get the rub of the green. Curtis jones with an “orange”card gets a VAR review and sent off.

Comes after the ref has ignored numerous challenges with the let it flow directive.

Seems like one is connected to the other.

Son is carrying Sperz by the scruff of their neck. So far, he's on pace to be the player of the year. The surprise so far is how teams are adjusting to Haaland.

A draw will be nice but if one team has to win I'd rather ...cough....spit....sperz. Liverpool are the bigger threat.
Son gets injured they're done. He can't play ever game.

By the way in the current climate where every penalty is reviewed, debated and always causing annoyance for at least one side those two today were two of the clearest penalties you’ll ever see.

Same goes for definitely 2 other penalties we’ve had this season. The spurs one was debated but I can’t see why

Did I miss something on this one. They checked the offside for Dias goal but I never saw the lines come up. It looked tight but looks on to the naked eye. Were the lines drawn and I missed them?

Surely not another error?

Pleased for Havertz but I watched the first half and if I’m really honest I saw little evidence of a 60 million pound midfielder there.

I hate saying it and I hope he comes good. He’s not bad it’s just that offensively he isn’t offering much right now.

Watching 40 million pound james Maddison right now isn’t helping either

Jota now sent off as well. The first yellow was a joke but he can’t dive in when on a yellow.

Reading online it does seem like var has ballsed up on the offside goal. If that’s true then it’s far worse then our one at home to Brentford because there was a lot going on in that incident (obviously absolutely no excuse) but this one was just one check on two players

By the “naked eye” we’re going by the lines in the grass on the pitch, which might give a false idea of where players are standing. But why would they be that wonky? And yes I never saw any lines.

Ugh. Last minute winner, Matip OG.

They were creating precisely nothing against 9 men.

The naked eye and the angle are deceptive so I’ll happily be corrected as something that looks well on from one angle can be offside when the parallel lines are drawn. But that just looks dodgy that we haven’t seen them properly drawn

Yeah Liverpool were comfortable down to 9 and I can’t recall spurs creating anything in the last 20 mins.
Klopp will have something to say bout the ref for sure.

I wonder if the media will start laying in to the over celebration, the mobbing of coaches on the touchline, spurs being far too emotional…..or is that just reserved for us?
