Yeah it was a good strike, but it came right at him and from the replay it didn't seem to bend all that much either. Think he was just caught off guard and misjudged it, not the worst mistake I've seen but you want your keeper to stop those at this level.

To me it looks like the GK tries to make the save more spectacular than it needs to be by throwing his whole body in the air and trying to punch up a hand to flick it over. The boring way to save it would be to get your entire body upright and inline with the ball and put both arms straight up and held firm
