Fully expect to see Jesus start.

To be honest so do I. However I do feel two strikers for a full season when we could play over sixty games is insufficient.

I agree with you there Bernard. Squad depth is our weakness, we can all see that.

Everyone, including me, accept Manchester City are clear favourites to win the title. But while they’ve played one game more, Tottenham are equal on points with City, albeit with a worse goal difference.

Without impressing some here due to not dominating possession, Tottenham continue quietly winning their games.

Leeds match not on UK tv live at all. Just not a fan of dodgy streams…

We must get him back in January to add to our strike force. Jesus can't play every match. Nketiah is showing some fragility.

I've found that you can win arguments about individual issues (when it becomes so blatantly obvious that you have to be an idiot or republican not to see it) but sadly the deeper ignorance/prejudice/ideological blinkers remain. I doubt that 'realisation' happens for many people over the age of about 30.

Tomiyasu starts.

Seems harsh on Tierney who is our best left back.

I still think its way too early to start talking runner up. What if an injury happens to Jesus? Or Ødegaard?

I guess the reasoning is if it ain't broke don't fix it, seeing that things worked so well on the left last week.

Just seems harsh on Tierney who never puts a foot wrong, I can understand playing Tomiyasu v salah to man mark and outmuscle him but KT can easily play againe Leeds.

Also he’ll leave, he’s too good to be a third choice left back. Our best right back is Tomiyasu and our best left back is Tierney in my opinion. They’ve barely featured though in those positions.

I actually agree with you. In fact, I would have played Tomiyasu on the right and Tierney on the Left last week even. I'm just saying I can completely see why Arteta keeps things as they are.

Tierney will feature soon no doubt.

Does anyone else think this feels like a potential banana skin? This will be real test of our resolve.

Agreed. Leeds are one of the hardest working teams in the league, with a very aggressive press. They tackle more and commit more fouls than any team in the league, and unlike us they didn't play in midweek. This is far from an easy fixture.

Every away game in the PL is a potential banana skin. It's tough to win away especially if you are not right at it from the start of the game.

Our level is not like City's who can overcome almost every team away from home on pure technical quality and possession.

Bit worried about the possibility of injuries today. Expect Leeds to put in some tasty tackles.

I am reading the commentary on a feed and this guy was from the east End and another guy said he wears a 'Romford Rolex' (electronic monitor). I spit out my drink laughing.

Is the game being played in Leeds or Bulawayo?

Villa are giving it a go, have come close to equalizing a couple of times. Chilwell should've been sent off for a tackle just now.

Rodrigo wide right for Leeds prefers to cut back inside onto his left foot like Salah. Probably why Tomiyasu got the shout ahead of Tierney.

Honestly, we're playing pretty well but Leeds are making it really difficult for us. Their press has worked very well so for, they're giving us no time on the ball and there's not a lot of space to work with. Need to just keep going, they won't be able to keep it up for 90 minutes.
