We got the free kick for the foul on Saka but the barge in to the back of Trossard should be a yellow. It’s totally deliberate with no attempt to challenge for the ball or no chance of winning it

On top here, let's get the second and put this to bed.

We do overcomplicate. Why not occasionally hit the free kick direct?

Ref sees the arm in the face give the free kick but no yellow.

Wolves racking up the fouls this half for sure

Boot in the chin of Jesus now. Ref needs to start taking proper action here.

I can see what will happen, these fouls are let go without cards so wolves are encouraged to be more physical. The crowd really start getting on top of the ref and before you know it the decisions start to follow. I get too nervous at these sorts of situations

I assume Arteta said shoot from distance at halftime.

Our shooting from outside the box is truly awful. No one in the team seems to be able to consistently make pure contact on the ball

Not so hot inside the box either.

Wolves are leaving loads of gaps at the back. We need to exploit it. Oh for a top class striker.

No you're not. Jesus won't score so take him off and put one of those two on.

Seems Arteta has realised this at last. It was becoming surreal.

Look at all the soft free kicks being given to wolves now. I saw this coming

I don't think we are knackered. We've seen this many times before. We slow things down and become more conservative. It's hard to watch.

Finally, 2-0, Ødegaard. Great win given the week just gone. Looks like 6 consecutive away clean sheets as well.

Much better after the sub, though. Rice has been immense.

Ødegaard :22encouragement: :22encouragement:

Definitely not knackered, clearly not going full tilt but there is enough in the tank here that we’ve held wolves at arms length. Look at Ruce driving through the midfield countless times, no way he looked knackered 2nd half.

Hard work made of that, but in control and a win is a win is a win.

Wolves were knackered by the end. You may be right. It felt like the foot came off the pedal and Wolves were getting back into it, but objectively they never had a sniff.

24 shots at goal tonight. We may have only sealed it late but that was a completely dominant performance. Wolves have beaten spurs twice, Chelsea twice and Man City. These aren’t a relegation push over. We were a bit fortunate that they had a few injuries but we didn’t give them a sniff.

Rice brilliant. Raya perfect in everything he did. Kiwior redeemed a shaky first half.

Lovely finish from Ødegaard ... but the fact that he was trying to cross instead of shoot just before that speaks volumes. Our ratio of touches in the box to shots must be very high. Too many no-look cutbacks and crosses too.

Mate, I can’t agree. We were better than them but never dominated. The shots total was so many long range poor efforts it hid the reality. We didn’t create a lot of good chances but we deserved the win. I thought we lacked fluidity. But it’s done and let’s hope City and Liverpool f it up.

How many good chances did Wolves have? How many nearly moments did Wolves have? How many times did you feel that we were under pressure from Wolves? The game should have been to bed earlier but that really was a dominant performance, even if we’d not got the 2nd goal I’d have said the same. Dominant for me doesn’t just have to be creating an endless list of high quality chances, it goes back to that theme of the season….control.

I thought Ben White was fantastic until he got in the box, his final ball or shot is often quite poor. His crosses are floated instead of flashed across the face, whipped in or even cut back.

Let’s just leave it with your idea of dominant and mine are significantly different. Did Sky make Raya man of the match?

Silly to say we weren't dominant. My issue was not enough end product. Often passing when we should have shot. We were often very slow around their box. The ball was fairly stagnant. We repeated prior set ups that failed prior.

I like to see Saka cut inside at times to give us a new look while Ben White goes a bit wide. Timber is going to improve us considerably, when he gets game fit and assuming he's back to close to his prior form. Mark my words.
