Hmm...Tom Ricketts is rich, but not super rich. Worth a few billion. His dad founded Ameritrade, worth a few billion but has to be retired by now. I don't see sugar daddy spending like the Arab sheikhs. At least I hope not, if they do buy them.

The quoted $26.5 billion sounds like it would buy them a Mbappe or two.

Still no news on a re-arranged date for the Totts game at their place.

It's difficult to understand the reason for the delay - we know all our remaining fixtures and they know theirs - so why the mystery?

The rescheduled Spurs match may not happen till May. Given now 3 rescheduled matches are spread throughout April. At least this was the speculation from a friend. Possibility of it being closer towards end of season.

UEFA confirm that CFC will play any future home fixtures in the CL competition behind closed doors.

Over to you, EPL.

Forbes say the Ricketts family is worth $4.5 billion. The Kroenke family are over $20 billion.

Tom Rickets alone is apparently only worth $900 million. Barely enough to live in a cardboard box outside the Embankment tube station.

No changes to the team. Tomiyasu still not ready it seems, not even on the bench.

The 6 seconds law about how long a keeper can hold on to the ball seems to be ignored nowadays. Ramsdale had it at about 30 seconds.

Pool playing a lot of the long passes. They must believe in the speed of their players.

Cédric should have passed that to Lacazette

Playing well so far, but damn Liverpool are a good side. They don't give anything away for free, always pressing, moving the ball so well. Impressive to watch.

We have raised our game. We seem to against City and Liverpool, even in losing efforts. Tottenham up 2-0, so no help from Brighton tonight so far.

As much as everyone misses Tomiyasu, Cédric has been playing very well in his absence

Martinelli is up for it, I just worry about his endurance. He's doing a lot of running. We'll need him in the 2nd half. Not sure if he can keep this pace up all game.

I think xhaka and Cédric have both done very well in that half.

Xhaka normally looks off the pace againest Liverpool but has been combative and made 2 or 3 decent progressive passes. He hasn’t been caught out,

Cédric fighting for everything despite his limitations.

That's a very good first half from us, we're going toe to toe with one of the best team in the world. Haven't created much, but apart from that Van Dijk header in the early minutes neither have Liverpool. So many games against Liverpool and Man City in recent years where we've just capitulated, but we look well up for it and it's obvious the players feel like they can get something out of this.

Well done so far. Very encouraging. But it's going to be a huge challenge in the second half against these opponents, especially with them needing a result. COME ON ARSENAL

It's noticeable we're targeting Trent, which is the right thing to do. Best attacking full back in the world, but defensively he's well below average. If Martinelli tires in the second, I would sub on Pépé rather than Smith-Rowe in that position, get someone else in who can keep challenging Trent.

Felt like the ref let a lot go that half. Usually that suits the home side and the underdog. As we often found out to our cost in the latter wenger years

Gabriel and White needs to be super focused. Mané can burst through on any long balls in a flash. That's my biggest worry in the second half.
