Luiz made a 'Mustafi'. Almost cost us.

Think he's been doing them long enough that we can call it a 'Luiz'

That referee probably grew up around the Southampton docks.

He’s not alone in that. Holding is another unsung hero who has done a super job this evening.

And Pépé has had a good one too.

Pépé attacks the defense better from the middle of the pitch than he does on the wings. His finishing though...I've seen better finishing on unvarnished antiques.

According to Lehmann Leno has been our most reliable player this season. He could be biased though.

Holding is my first choice CB for Arsenal. His game has matured much.

He’s had better games this season with no fanfare. Gabriel would be my first choice CB. Any news on him? Was he on the bench his eve??

Get in there!!!
Great win to come here and take all 3 points.
Good team Southampton so massive 3 points.
Cédric really impressed me tonight and last few games.
Not looking such an awful signing now.
I love Saka. What a kid.
Has it all.
Pray Smith Rowe hasnt picked up an injury.
We need him.
Didnt think we would win so delighted!

I think he is right.

The fact that Saka is now getting amongst the goals and assists regularly, is also very satisfying.

Up to 8th, it’s a work in progress and a workmanlike side without any superstar in it but you can tell they want to play for Arteta.

There’s never been any doubt Leno is a very good goalkeeper just a bunch of wallys moaning at the start of the season at the slightest little thing and at any point the ball going in our net blaming him for it. There’s been no drastic improvement he’s always solid just the needless moaning ended.

Absolutely huge win. So important in so many ways. With the weakened team and weak performance in the cup Arteta put all his eggs in tonight’s basket and the players repaid him. Also to come from behind to win a game for the first time in the league this season. Up to 8th in the league above Chelsea and only 4 behind Liverpool.

Huge credit to some of the lesser lights. I’d definitely questioned the Cédric signing but he’s been good recently and his ability to swap so easily to left back is a big bonus. Holding consistently good again, exactly what you need from your CB, unflashy just gets the job done without fuss. Pépé and Lacazette has both taken stick this year and both have big performances today. I said earlier in the week I wanted to see Pépé on the left and with the vibrancy of Emile Smith Rowe and Saka and Partey to see if the faster attacking play they bring can help him raise his game.

Saka has to be the best teenager talent in the league. To be this consistent at his age is staggering.

Absolutely loved that performance against a very good Southampton side. 5 wins and a draw in our last 6, 14 goals scored and only 2 against. Second only to City in form

Loved Saka saying in his interview “we knew their weakenesses” I get fed up with teams saying that about us. It’s about time we gave it back and make teams realise we are a serious team again
