I didnt even check their score as I thought the tie was over and that spurs would cruise it tonight..
Until I saw bromley's post saying they were 2 down and all square.

Now let's see Milan dump utd out!!!

That third kit, which they seem to wear for no reason all the time, is horrendous. Like someone took and hammer to a Newcastle strip.

With Tottenham already out, if Milan knock Manchester United out I make is favourites to win this trophy, despite our inconsistency.

I can't remember enjoying an evening of football where we slump to a tepid 1-0 home defeat quite so much. Thank you Tottenham :26encouragement:

I am reading some of the comments on the Tottenham message boards and I am laughing my head off and gloating. Am I a bad person for wanting this suffering to continue I ask myself?

Tottenham are really dire when they're not playing both Kane and Son. Things are shaping up quite nicely for us in the Europa League. We have a genuine chance of winning it!

While the Spurs fans are deserving of sympathy, the one I'm really broken-hearted about is Mourinho. As he so eloquently pointed out after the match, none of it was his fault--it was all the players' doing of course!

Thats the most football I've watched for ages. Man U looked quite impressive but we are definately in with a shout, and the bonus being we got some rest for Saka, Ødegaard and Partey. If we can manage to beat West Ham at the weekend then our season starts to get even more interesting.

Disappointing to see Manchester United progress tonight. I’d have preferred them to go the same way as Tottenham.

Weve got a real chance now. If we could avoid united, Roma or Ajax in Fridays draw we have a real opportunity

As inconsistent as we are, Arteta has proved that he knows how to get the players to perform against good teams. He has beaten Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham and Leicester, with a couple of the wins ranking as our best performances under him. There is definitely quality in sides like Man Utd, Roma and Villarreal, but we can beat them all if we turn up.

After winning in Athens it should have been a walk over at home looked that it is almost impossible not to progress to the next round. But not with our team we can manage to make our supporters blood going sky high.
I have the feeling from what I could see and read after the game that some of the our players had the attitude that it is enough just to turn up it is all over let get paid and go home.
We were dreadful all over the pitch –I don’t want to mention names but our midfield was completely off the pace.and our forward line was just as bad.
Olympyakos isn’t the type of team who will just give up without a fight we should have learned from last years result
I know I should not say but I will. I am sick of listening about stories of Aubameyang My question is only does he want to play for Arsenal? With last night showing it felt like why did he bothered to turn up at all..Unfortunately he is not the only player with problems.
I did not like to read some of Leno’s dressing room comments..
We have some problems and unless Artea will stop talking and do something positive we will go nowhere.
I am sure my late son Steve would share my sentiment.

There's a fair few pages but here's the end of the Zagreb thread....

There's a small minority turning on Kane as well. Lol.

It's been a while since I've seen so much lazy defending than the sperz team defense. Second, now I understand why Bale was on the outs at RM. He's mentally uncommitted. Whatever he is going through its coming through on the pitch. Maybe the pressure cooker that is RM, maybe its just his character, whatever it is, he's fried, done, stick a fork in him.

Do you think the DVD ‘Miracle in Zagreb’ will be a big seller in at least one part of North London.

We are in a good position to get to at least the semis. I'm not as optimistic as others as to our chances. We are the 2nd biggest club of all the clubs left. Ajax has a better European pedigree but in terms of following we're much bigger globally and I'd even say in Europe.

That said, I don't think we are visibly much better than some of the clubs. We should be able to beat Zagreb, Villareal, Roma, Prague and even Ajax. Granada is the only club I feel very confident about. And I don't think we'll beat Man Utd over two legs. (if its two legs next, not sure, too bothered to look it up).

So, "should" beat the teams mentioned but its going to be tough. I think are marginally better over 2 legs going by our season thus far. We've been fortunate. We really haven't played any very tough sides.

Hoping for the best but not expecting us to win it. I'd love for us to. I've not seen us win a European trophy yet.

Agree with you 100%

I love seeing the kids play and would love to see Mikel using them more. No-one should be bigger than our club.

The interesting thing for Spurs now is what happens to Kane and Son. I’m amazed teams haven’t really tested Spurs resolve before. When you think Real Madrid signed Hazard when they could have got Son for the same money.
Spurs have a huge stadium to pay off. A years worth of covid massively impacting their earnings and now a team unlikely to make it in the CL and massively reduced earnings from this years foray in Europe. Their wage bill has also really caught up with the other big 6 teams. On top of that they have a manager who demands more money and spending and will cost £35m to sack.
But hyphen have spurs missed the boat to seriously cash in on Kane? Why go for Kane when Haaland is available for potentially less money. And which clubs even have the sort of money Spurs will demand for Kane and Son. If either decide they want to move on I think spurs are going to have to accept reduced fees or force them to stay. It is similar to what happened to us, when players ask to leave it immediately knocks millions off their price.
To think Spurs sacked their best manager in 50 years to get in bed with the devil.
