Not just the noise, the style. I'd imagine that cruising through one of the less populated parts of the States in a mustang convertible or something like that would be one of the better things one could do with ones time. Same would apply to Harleys. What the young oness don't get is that performance isn't really the point. And it certainly isn't the how fancy or expensive it is (like Bernard imagining that because Guinness is a proletarian drink it must be swill. )

One can grant some leeway to differences in tastes but not too much leeway.

Drinking Guinness is almost as bad as eating in a restaurant that doesn't have at least one Michelin Star. Shows an extreme lack of self-pride.

You can meet a gooner anywhere. I'm in Asia and a random person at the next table invites himself to talk to a couple yanks and he's a gooner from Northampton. Great convo. He was old enough to remember when sperz won in '61.

Oops, I thought the Oster game was this week. Luckily I decided not to wake up to catch it. Without the game, the team has more time to prepare for Spurs. I believe Wenger will have a strategy around Mkhitaryan and Aum. But Spurs will be wise to it too. A plan B must be hatched as well.

I've been looking for a mention of Osterund for the last couple of days .......then thought has the Singaporean overdosed on battered scorpions legs or some other Asian delicacy .

Battered by the stock markets ..... US market gave me a right hook, HK market gave me a left hook, Singapore market gave me a body blow.
And you just gave me the knock-out punch .... well done Kiwi :icon_mrgreen:

So did you wow him with your thoughts on Arsenal! Must have been a lively and animated conversation of the then and now. Safe travels AG.

Dele Alli sent off for a second yellow (diving).

0-2 to us. Early goal for us.

LOL. I don't try and wow anyone. But I'm animated and excited discussing all things Arsenal. Someone that much older its about sitting and listening and hearing the stories first hand.
Granted, I did get huge brownie points for talking about Charlie George, the '71 double, and that sperz won the title in '61. But it was pertinent to the conversation.

Always a pleasure meeting gooners from yesteryears.

V8's no argument. Harley's sound awful. Wet fart noise but nothing else. A ducati or other 60 degrees vtwin is the v8 of bikes any day of the week.

33Cech
24Bellerín
20Mustafi
6Koscielny
18Monreal
35El Neny
29Xhaka
11Özil
10Wilshere
7Mkhitaryan
14Aubameyang
Substitutes
9Lacazette
13Ospina
17Iwobi
21Chambers
23Welbeck
30Maitland-Niles
31Kolasinac

That's the good news.

The bad news is that the incompetent Anthony Taylor refs the game.

It'll definitely be controversial. Luck or lack of it decides who wins I'm afraid.

If Elnenny gives a Chelsea like performance we have a great team imo.

Xhaka and Jack to go off if we perform and Ramsey and Lacazette to come on early in the second half.

Loving the optimism but sh1%%&ng my pants................

Seems so out of character as he never struck me as anyone so concerned over money.

Hmmm ..... we are busy but not creating much , drawing EVERYBODY back at every opportunity is inviting pressure and our passing leaves a bit to be desired .

That f***** Korean is giving us problems

I agree, you'd expect us to be knocking it around for fun on a big wide pitch like Wembley, but we look pretty average really.

True ... just having a ref on the pitch is too much for some .

Hopefully a half time team talk will produce results but on that display I can only see one winner . :brushteeth: Back to bed I think rather than continue watching and be p*** off .

Have to agree about the ref he has been leaning in our favour rather than against us and allowed the game to flow.

Great teamwork and discipline so far.

We lack control Soc ..... you and I both know we have been screaming for a Ya Ya Toure , Patrick Vieira type figure to swat away their annoying little bar flies .

They are getting gains from a long accurate ball to Song ........we find the man with our passing , but unfortunately it's usually some bloke sitting in the stands .

Mkhitaryan not having a great game .

Would have preferred Ramsay to Elneny ...scores a hat trick and doesn't start the next game :icon_scratch: is he injured .

100 million pounds of strikers on the pitch, would be a good time for one of them to score a goal.
