Yeah it’s these type of games I hate watching these days.

If I had a dog I’d take it for a walk.

I feel like we're clearly the better team, but at the same time the margin isn't wide enough to make me feel comfortable at all... Very nervy.

Good to see the ref stopping the rough stuff, nudges and push/pulls etc.

Honestly, there's a lot of encouraging things about the way we've started this match. Nearly 25 minutes in, and we have around 60% possession at Stamford Bridge. That's not because Chelsea wants it this way, it's because of our quality and I think this shows how far we've come. That being said, it could all still go pear-shaped of course, there's a lot of quality in this Chelsea team and we haven't created much yet.

Loved the fast interplay passing in the build up to Gabriel's miss. Why can't we do that more often instead of passing back so often.

Partey has been brilliant in breaking off Chelsea's high balls with his long legs

Good first half, not a lot of chances either way but I feel that's more to do with both sides being well-organized and having defenders of high individual quality than anything else. The game might open up in the second as players start to get tired.

It’s is crazy how he is refereed. His first foul, how many has Cucurella had! It’s a massive part of the game for a winger to get their full back carded.

As long gas it's the only one. Things should have got one for an earlier challenge on
O degard which stopped a good attacking position.

Playing well, but haven't managed to threaten their goal enough, and always worried when Chelsea break. Let's hope we can improve on some of our recent second half performances.

I don't use FB, but a mutual friend of mine & Bernard's does, so she screenshotted some of his best posts for me, & I thought I'd post my favourite one here.

Worried about the second half slump setting in, and Aubameyang getting the winner.

Hi Daz - yes still breathing, though not as easy as before. Walking the small hill from our home to go shopping is these days more like a punt up Blencathra. And running for a bus, once deemed undignified, is about as likely as me catching Henry in his pomp. Have kept busy with various volunteer projects so the mind is working well enough. The Darts are looking promising with a settled team at last. Martin Tyler is one of our coaches but it must all be down to the manager's clarity?

Yet another foul by Cucurella on Saka, still no yellow.

Saka has been booked 3 times this season. Opposition players have only been booked once for a foul on Saka. Can anyone offer a logical explanation for that?

Damn. Partey took that cross away from Martinelli who was in prime position to bury it.
