They still rated him highly enough to sign him, and he was rated highly enough to play for Spain.

In friendlies if they have an injury crisis last year :laughing7: :laughing7:

He’s not going to the euros, makes your claims the Spaniards rating him incorrect and uninformed

You’re delusional. Hypocrisy is accusing someone of something you have blatantly done yourself by deleting the majority of someone’s single paragraph earlier post to deliberately change the meaning of that post.

So I agree. The issue is now closed.

Unless of course you’re obsessive by emotionally needing to do the last post. Let’s see.

You threw a tantrum about me changing a post midweek

Then lied that you hadn’t on post 526394 & then admitted you had on 526397 :15laughter: :15laughter: :15laughter: :15laughter:

That is 100 percent hypocritical.

It is becoming obvious that the lockdown has had a detrimental affect on one of our regular posters. I think he needs some help. In Australia we have the beyond blue organisation to assist. Can someone point out the UK equivalent.

No worries Warrior, dates changed and all, I didn't even know it changed to Saturday until it came up on my cable tv channel advertising the game.

Then I checked on BBC sports and Arsenal.com to make sure. The same thing happened when I was in London for the game I saw a while back. Which worries me when I travel to a game and only have so much time in town and it changes. Seems like I need to allow for a day or two before and after the scheduled game.

Surprisingly, Man Utd have "only" lost 4 matches this season. City, 3. The few people I know who are hardcore MUFC supporters want OGS out and think their board is just waiting for enough 'ammo' to justify sacking a club legend.

I should be cheering for City against Leicester but I can't. I'd prefer Leicester to finish runner up than MUFC.

I’m quite happy for Man U to get Ole, I just really don’t believe he is a manager that extracts those amazing performances from them, I still feel it is the individual moments from very good players that are doing more than Ole’s managerial brilliance.
Ole is in that position with Man U that makes him hard to sack but also hard to see him winning the biggest prizes

I knew you wouldn’t be able to leave it, being obsessive about having the last word. You are a liar and a hypocrite. You had changed the meaning of my post by deleting the majority of the same paragraph when I’d explained my reason for my first sentence. I had deleted a separate point you’d made to the bit I quoted, which you had put it in a separate paragraph. I’m not sure you can be so illogical to not recognise your own hypocrisy, but maybe I’m being too kind in thinking that?

You are making yourself look ridiculous, perhaps I’d go as far as pathetic. You will obviously respond to this post because you have to have the last word. If you’re happy making yourself look a fool, go ahead. Because that’s what your obsessiveness, lies and hypocrisy is doing.

Maybe the greatest ever series? In my top set with The Sopranos and Six Feet Under.

Anyway, big match today. I recall chatter on here saying 'if we beat Liverpool' and some other things happen, we may have European football. I would love to beat Liverpool. And we are home and they are not playing well and we should be relatively rested.

We beat Tottenham and Mourinho in a league match. Anything else for the rest of the season is gravy for me.

'Anhoo' to be fair to Leeds in the match I posted, Liverpool drew 'first blood' with a very bad tackle that set the tone. I assume Liverpool weren't known for being a rough side but have assume they figured they'd set the tone and let Leeds know that they can give it as well as take it.

I’m not sure what the second sentence means but I suppose it’s too much to take your first sentence (albeit without a full stop) as an observation of your own behaviour?

Yes, but the suet pastry, having spent months in the tin soaking up the kidney gravy, is the point. My granny use to make proper steak and kidney pudding (along with all the other English classics). Steak and kidney pie made with short pastry is ubiquitous. However, its vastly superior relative, the steak and kidney pudding, made with suet and steamed for 4 hours--the jewel in the crown of English cooking--seems to have disappeared.

Rich, suet has a melting point of about 50 degrees centigrade and is offal. Unheated, I imagine it would be like eating a candle that had been stored in used kitty litter.

I hope you are right, but fear their slow but steady improvement. A huge team like United don't need a whiz-bang manager. One who is able to keep the peace, develop a reasonable degree of cohesion on the pitch, and motivate the troops may be sufficient. You need a sort of hand-off commander in chief like Eisenhower.

Please don't post about such trivial matters. Who cares about our game today? What does it matter in the greater scheme of things if the game is today, tomorrow, or in 2025? Irrelevant digressions like yours might lead one to miss an installment of Bernard and Top Gun's scintillating debate, and hence lose the thread completely. One might even lose track of what it is they are arguing about, which of course would be a tragedy!

It’s probably the defacto British classic dish. My Nan used to also make a decent one, not amazing but decent.

It’s often done badly at some pubs or restaurants and I’ve seen variations without the kidney which seems totally missing the point as far as I’m concerned.

The other thing she did well was liver and bacon. Another English classic. Again done in the wrong place atrocious, done well ? as satisfying as anything you could ever eat.

If you don’t like offal we can never be friends and it seems more and more people don’t like it these days
