Not sure if an Arsenal v Sperz or Arsenal v Chelsea is bigger than a Sperz v Chelsea these days in terms of stature. Maybe tradition wins out and the NLD is still the most anticipated local derby as it was historically. Not being in London, I wouldn't know but its a guess.

it really has nothing to do with you not being in London. Why don't you pop round to my house for a cup of tea. I'll pm my address

Fantastic performance from Spurs putting real pressure on us to get the three points tomorrow.

We'll do very well to finish ahead of Spurs this season. At the moment, I just can't see that happening.

Just tuned in to see Bournemouth have a goal disallowed then Torreira hit the post before iwobi shanked the follow up

Tight offside decision there nearly 0-1, then we hit the woodwork

Pathetic ref. Bournemouth take their free kick quickly and immediately lose it, arsenal break but the ref lets Bournemouth take it again. I thought if the ref had said to the taker to wait for the whistle and you took it quickly you were booked for unsporting behaviour

On the balance of the season so far we’ve had more than our fair share of luck. A few og but more importantly quite a few decisive ref calls in our favour. Today’s offside looked just on, there was the Liverpool non goal, a pen for Leicester that I can also remember

I'm still very unconvinced by Mkhitaryan

Yeah he’s not having a good one. He’s got a moment of quality or a goal in him that can turn a game, but if he doesn’t improve I’d like to see him replaced. Utter *%^@ defending just now. Brooks could have pitched a tent in midfield he had so much time

Iwobi’s fault.

Too much faffing about, Iwobi loses it and we get done on the break. Disappointing as we were on top.

Pish poor from Iwobi.

Level probably fair on balance of play. Tough second half coming up.

He’s been alright though. Change Mkhitaryan to a strong pacy winger who can cycle the ball and we’re a different team imo. Hopefully Nelson can come a bring something next season. After a full year with Hoffenheim I think he should be given a chance there and strengthen elsewhere.

Let's be honest that back three of Holding, Sokratis and Mustafi doesn't look good on paper and on the pitch it looks even worse.

Despite our unbeaten run I think we are still a long, long way short of competing with the very best. Maybe four or five top players.

Mika, Kolasinac, Mustafi, Sokratis not quite good enough. Arguably the likes of Holding and Iwobi as well.

Hard to argue with that. Hopefully we have one or our famous second halves. I’d take off Mkhitaryan for Ramsey now. Not sure what other options we’ve got tbh??

Just rank amateur game management, 30 seconds left in the first half and we get caught and out numbered on a counter attack! Where are the leaders on the pitch to just say keep the ball? They all knew there was only 1 min added time. When you haven’t had a half time lead all season you just have one thing to make sure you don’t do, you have 60 seconds to just not concede - and particularly don’t concede because you have over committed players going forward.

Annoyingly when the ball goes wide from bournemough’s Initial clearance it was 5 arsenal defenders against 3 Bournemouth attackers, suddenly their men breaking wanted to get forward more than ours wanted to get back and there was acres of space in the middle of the park.....where were Xhaka and Torreira?

So frustrating to keep making the same in game mistakes.

It seems to be that age old problem for arsenal having players who might make good squad players but they are playing every game in the starting 11

I’d far rather have Özil on than Mkhitaryan

A few step over silky skills from Holding on the left wing! :laughing7:
