I thought Medley did very well. Look, after half an hour or so against a team that Barnet would provide toughish opposition for is not the time to declare he's the next Franz Beckenbauer. But I was pleased for him.

Only saw the first half, encouraging display from a young team away in Europe. No matter if this was poor opposition, it was still European football against an experienced team.

Really interested to see the development of Willock. Whenever I’d seen him before I’d always thought he was a bit lightweight and not quite ready - he just looks so much more confident.

Agree about Willock. He was so much better than I've seen him before.

Only had some highlights to watch but That was a good performance. Now the other players have had a rest they had better perform on the weekend. No poor first half .

Good flowing and energetic play by the Young Guns. Very encouraging. Willow's goal was very well taken. There was a TH14 type of coolness in it. The confidence of these youngsters was very good. Ramsey did very well too.

Although I'm yet to be fully convinced by Smith Rowe, for me the youngster who looked a little over-rated (by some) was Eddie Nketiah. I'm not writing him off, but have doubts he'll make it with us. As I suppose I do about a few of them.

I think he’s stepped up for the U23’s this season and has a lot of people saying he’s a different player this season.
No idea whether he will make it with us but he seems to have got to a point physically and in his confidence where he feels he is ready to play men’s football at a very good level.
AMN and Nelson appear good enough for the first team squad, if we can pick up another 2 for the first team from the youth team that will be incredible. It is also important to keep the value of these players up because there should be no reason why these lads can’t generate £5-10m each of we decide to sell them

He’s heavily rumoured to be the author of the secret footballer books and if you’ve read any of them you can see Kitson/the secret footballer is more of a thinker than your average footballer

Fair play to Kitson for getting this out their. I always felt Pulis was a cave man.

For a team like Stoke, especially against a Wenger team, being physical and direct was a good tactic. However if everything Kitson says is true then Pulis went too far. Sadly Ramsey's leg paid the price.

I was a bit surprised when he said he knew he was in a minority not rating Mkhitaryan, or words to that effect. How does he know when he's blocked so many members? I can only recall recent defensive posts about Mkhitarayan from you and Hazuki. The two of you isn't a majority.

Time for the biggest one Emery will need to win for the fans.

Time for Özil to shine and show why he can turn it on. Mkhitaryan should start and be taken off at half-time if he cannot even dribble past the defence. Aubameyang MUST start to turn on his style. He can instill fear into the defence if he believes more in himself. I feel he is doubting himself.

The team sort of sorts itself out for the starting 11. We do not have any stand-out star to rely on. Emery should be able to get the team to be bigger than the sum of the individual parts.

And please, please, please, let Leno remain in goal. I think he gives more confidence to the defence.

I agree. Based on what I've read the majority view is that Mkhitaryan isn't good enough as a first choice player.

Kroenke was awarded the L.A. franchise under the proviso he will make every effort to build a championship team.
They are currently 10-1. So we know Stan can do it. The question is why he didn't/ doesn't do that with us. Emery is a good start but we still don't have enough money in my estimation.

Spurs next but after watching Man U the past few games there is no reason why we can’t go there and win.
Wenger’s teams of the last 10 years no matter the form or players always went in to their shell at old Trafford and Anfield. Emery simply has to get the team to play positively and take the game to Man U because they are so fragile

I've always thought the team's issues were more belief/mental strength than talent. Wenger's record against Mourinho even when Mourinho was managing squads that weren't playing well was woeful. But that's the past. This current incarnation of The Arsenal is not 'there yet' but definitely better mentally than they were prior years.

We can go on about Wenger but a few of the British managers, Pulis and fat Sam for sure, despised that a foreigner came in and became so successful. Pure envy, nothing more.

And it must be said, the referees didn't do much about it. I take you back to Leeds away in the 2003 season and they sent 2 of our players off before they even had a booking around the 86th minute. British referees showing a wee bit of bias towards a foreign manager.

Saw on twitter a guy was moaning that we have to listen to redknapp, sherwood and jeans talk about the NLD and how in their experience form goes out the window and it can go either way.....when between 1995 and 2009 spurs only won 2 of 33 derbies!
