All the VAR calls aside, we haven't really played like this is an important game for us.

But what's the alternative. Is it he's only offside if a leg in front? 20%? . We'd be here till Christmas waiting for them to figure that out.
At least offsides are mostly black and white.

The one that really needs work are handballs and penalty 'contact'

Precisely. There has to be a boundary somewhere. Wherever you draw it there are going to be the same problems.

There is no ways we should be trailing to that lot. What a load of rubbish.

VAR has over engineered football. Encourages cheating and open to abuse

Like any profession I think you just need competent people doing it.

Since the opening 10 minutes it’s had a pre-season friendly feel to it.

That doesn’t look good for Lacazette (or us).

Making Fulham look good at the moment which is suck an Arsenal tragic. I struggle to understand how this can be pantomimed over and over and over again.

Come on¡!!!!!!!!

It's not a secret that our priority is winning the Europa League so might that have filtered into the mindset of the players?

Most of it will be taken by their keeper changing his boot.

Anyone counting time? We need a Twitter statto to count this regularly and let everyone know, because it feels like it’s total bollocks every game.

I thought we had a decent first half. Less 2nd,

Thin line between success and failure in the league. Going in halftime 1nil up makes things much easier.

Their goal came from an attack down our left, not sure it would have happened with Tierney there. I really don’t think we can afford to miss 1 of our core players in a game right now.

Looks to be a shocking result

I sincerely hope that we aren’t going to have to try and win the Europa League with Nketiah as our main striker.

Some good movement and attacking intent in 1st half. Still very afraid to shoot. 2nd half has been rubbish. We thought we'd won and now chasing a draw against Fulham who have been terrible. This is not players, this is management and Arteta should take the blame for this mess.

7 minutes seems about right. I’ve always thought these officials do a good job timekeeping

Does anyone get the impression we could be taking corners till next year and not score?

We should be approaching every remaining game like a cup final, but have clearly gone into this one thinking it'll sort itself out because it's only Fulham at home. Unacceptable

Fulham got what they deserved anyway. No efforts on goal other than a complete gift penalty. 10 man defence at all times. And extremely lucky not to concede to Ceballos. They did not deserve to win.

Yep. I've seen improvement in defense, improvement to attack when it became a problem and improvements in adaptability for each match. What is missing is the true will to win and urgency to do so every match. We should have won that at a *%^@*** walk and had to be satisfied with a lucky draw against a relegated club.

I predicted the end of the season would be a slog against relegation opposition and yet million dollar salaries cannot do the same it seems.

True. First half should have been 2 or 3 nil.

Arteta scorecard...

1. Ability to setup team and tactics -Good
2. Ability to adjust based on in game action - Averag
3. Ability to set a style that others have to worry Bout or how to break down walls of defense - poor

That match could have been a message and turned into a lesson that Arsenal never even learn. Having stayed up and cut sleep on a Sunday night for the first time in ages I think I'll wait till next season before bothering again.

Hi all

Would anyone be able to shed some light on this ?

=====================================
Dear Sir,
I’m sure my dad played for Arsenal duringWW2. He didn’t talk about it too much
He did say about some of the players like Bastin and the Compton Brothers . Can you check it out for me and let me know if you find out if he got any goals and if he played in any Cup games I’m just watching Arsenal v Fulham on my TV over here in NJ and that’s what made me think of my dad .
Thank you for your time
Margaret Jobson Worlock

:8angers: :36angers: I blame the Boss. he took out Chambers, Mari and Partey and the ball was hardly ever played to Saka nor were there any through balls into space for our forwards to run on to. It was a repeat of previous games where Gabriel has played and Partey hasn't.

We know our best team now whychange it? Our next game is Friday wtf do they need to rest, if you have to rest one don't make wholesale changes it doesn't frigggin work.

:36angers: :8angers: :1cry: why ffs, why?

As I’ve said repeatedly the only consistent thing about us is our inconsistency. A fine performance in Prague followed three days later by a display so underwhelming it resembled a sleeping tablet in non-pill form.

Although some make out we have something to play for in the league because of our easier run in (on paper), I’m finding Premier League games a bit like something you have to get through even if you don’t enjoy it. Les Dawson and others might have said similar to visiting your mother-in-law (although I get on well with mine). The Europa League is way more important and thus interesting. I wonder if the players think the same? I don’t see how they can’t feel the same way.

Yes, but lots of opposition to it so I’ll still be surprised if it actually happens.

It sounds truly awful as reported. The ramifications of entering such a limited ‘competition’ are huge. For the clubs, for the players, for the game.

It isn’t something I’d like to see. But it’s the logical conclusion to the situation whereby all the money in the game is concentrated between a small number of clubs. And the likes of Forest, Derby and Villa have next to no chance of competing at the top of the league.
