It is not as if you and I just discovered this revelation. Apparently others have not noticed.

Thankful for the late equaliser, but that's a game we should have won, if we paid a bit more attention to defending. Entertaining game anyway.

One of the best games to watch this season even if we dropped points yet again. Yep you can watch Man U and Mourinho if you want tedium and total boredom.

One of our best game of football for a long while now. Won't grumble about the play. Čech, Özil, Jack and Niles are the stand out players for us.

Great game despite having so many injuries in defence. Credit should go to Wenger for a good performance.

Fair result in the end, but it flattered Chelsea more than us. This is not the game we will regret when we sum up the season.

Fair comment. You see tonight and look at WBA and wonder.

Good game. Although we played the better football we can count ourselves lucky that Morata was so poor. We could easily have lost that regardless of whether we deserved to or not.
Chambers was like a competition winner in the first half.

He should have buried all 3 on another night

Neville gushing over Maitland-Niles. Couldn't he play in midfield?

Indeed, Morata was absolutely dreadful, should have had a hat-trick.
Nevertheless, we didn't deserve to lose that game and again that's an incredibly soft penalty given against us. Looking forward to seeing it again, last I looked I thought Bellerin might have got a toe on it.
Pleased for Bellerin to hit that equaliser just seconds after a lack of quality from both him and Welbeck in great crossing positions looked like it had cost us.

Özil, magnificent tonight.

He played very well indeed - with more experience he'll become a fine player

Start putting players in their natural positions and no telling where it will end.

"A great advert for the premiership"

When that gets said you know our defence is all over the place again

Looking at the replays, the penalty decision was correct. Not much in it and Hazard made a meal out of it, but clear contact.

Yes he made contact with Hazards foot, underneath, after Hazard had played it but no way did he impede Hazard who could never have got to it before Jack so why give a penalty?

That being said, Bellerin was really good today. Glad he got the equalizer.

Because you can't kick opponents?

As the VAR has been trialed in Oz , it would not likely have been overturned.

.
Plenty of talking points ...... entertaining game depending on your viewpoint ....whether you are a glass half full or half empty merchant .
Walcott on with three minutes to go ..... :icon_scratch: I was calling for him to come on at 65 minutes .

Replacing Lacazette your most potent weapon with the " Scuff Specialist " Welbeck .... :icon_scratch:

Soft penalty ...but a challenge that didn't need to be made .

We had the winning off that game , Chelsea very poor earlier on , they lack the cutting edge of Costa but for us a lot of good chances thrown away by abysmally bad passing

.... but then in the end thanks to Morata having a mare probably should be happy with the point . :sad4: :laughing7:

Yes, have to concede it was a penalty.

Here's a question.

Why doesn't Wenger buy a decent central defensive midfielder and a couple of kick-ass centre-halfs?

We might be all right then.

Having said that, our bench was tragic tonight.

Great game of football.

We actually played pretty well going forward, Özil was superb.

Admittedly it was a makeshift defence but our defending is just shocking, we are so amateurish in our organisation and decision-making.

Sadly we've been saying that for a decade or more.

I think there's more chance of me shagging Kylie Minogue than of Čech saving a pen.

Yeah, I have more sympathy for our defense today as they've never really played together. Chambers is just not good enough, but I still think Holding can become good. We're desperate for a leader at the back.

Really hoping Maitland-Niles get a couple of games in central midfield this season. He's a real gem.
