The game is a reminder we need to invest in better midfielders

If you can’t trust Xhaka ceballos and el nenny againest this lot you have an issue

This is the worst I’ve seen us play in quite a while; we seem like we’re hung over from a party last night!

How bad has Aubameyang been? Dreadful.

It's clear we didn't go into this game at 100%, which is maybe understandable considering the result in the first game. Problem with that is once Olympiakos gets that goal and start to look hungry, it's very difficult to just hit a switch and take control of the game the way we should be able to.

And the second great chance Aubameyang has missed.

Oh for goodness sake. Aubameyang doesn’t have his shooting boots tonight.

He probably feels hard done by and perhaps by implication a lack of faith in him, which i dont think is the case, but he seems like the kind of player to take that to heart. He'd do well with a Wenger arm around the shoulder.

That second yellow was possibly a little bit harsh

I thought so, but consider a player punching the ball away or throwing it down, that's often a yellow for a show of dissent, I don't think he's got it for the ball hitting Martinelli. Seeing how upset the player was can't help but feel bad for him.

Agree with this. We've missed a few great chances too. Pretty comfortable in the end though, nearly there now.

Yeah, according to the laws of the game it's the correct desicion but at the same time I think the ref can allow a little bit of frustration. But certainly not the wrong call.

Martinelli showing he wants to play more, have to admire his spirit.

Pépé played really hard today. Very good effort.

Yeah, agree. I feel like perhaps refs in European competitions are stricter on this, certainly than the Prem.

Martinelli's direct running causing all sorts of problems, you love to see it.

Not much else to say about it. Martinelli looked lively when he came on and I thought Ødegaard was our best player in that second half. We have to do everything we can to sign him.

Good to see Sok is still loved by his former team mates. I like Sok.

In isolation that was miiiiserable, in context its fine. Nice rest for some players, and that's just the ones who played... all at 50% effort... nice cameo for Martinelli and more minutes for Partey. Er, that's it. Onwards.

The misses were hysterical Pépé and Aubameyang should have had 2 each,

Doesn’t feel like a match day without soc moaning about Martinelli not getting minutes. Time to get creative

Ødegaard moves the ball forward. Ceballos prefers to find the easier path. And most times, it is the back pass.
