Just as worrying is that players will appeal for the decision. No honour left at all.

I thought VAR and extra scrutiny was supposed to remove the 'human error' element of officiating?

:9surprise:

I'd love for us to put our group to bed and keep chalking up wins. That way we can play the younger players for the games that don't have any bearing on the group standings. I'm expecting 3 points which I shouldn't do.

Nailed it, AG.

This is why I love the forum. The opinions posted on it really make you think.

Supposed to. Just like democracy is supposed to remove tyrant and crooks from power.

We just have to cling to the faith that having such systems is better than the alternatives.

Just catching a bit of the Benfica vs Rangers game. The stadium looks eerily familiar, especially in its current non-spectator mode.

Mind you it was us who copied them.

Well that’s ironic. Conceding a goal by not playing our way out of defence.

We are building attacks like a Subbuteo team.

Just one active player at any time.

Always that element of frustration that we just don’t shoot enough against teams who stick 10 men behind the ball.
We don’t seem to have players who can get the ball, make half a yard and fire an accurate shot at goal

Karen Carney. Urgh, not that I like many comms but she really is awful. Arsenal rivalling her in stinking the place out.

Just like virtually all of the Dundalk game. Tedious, unexciting with no real penetration or threat.

Hopefully the rested players will do a job on Villa.

Consistency in focus and urgency not there still.

Missing what Nelson gave us v Dundalk, just someone willing to run at them. Pépé is infuriating at his lack of desire to actually try and beat his man. He does a few step overs, keeps the ball close, stops and plays it backwards

At least she offers a reasonable commentary, unlike the judgemental and superior attitude of Steve McManaman.

She can barely get her words out coherently sometimes, kept insisting Bernd Leno's long pass was a goal kick and mostly deals in stating the obvious or pointless. So yes, still better than McManaman :laughing7:

Goal disallowed for offside. Terrible decision. Willock was offside but Nketiah who tapped it in was a long way onside

Someone tell her his name is Nketiah, not Nketiay

Doh. Nketiah wasn’t offside when he ‘scored’.

Still, nice of Molde to make amends by scoring for us.

Willock was offside there but Eddie was onside and I think he was the one who put it in.

And there's the equaliser. We don't really deserve it but we certainly needed it.

She's working from the commentators book of cliches. That's her 'philosophy'.

Just the 4 players playing Nketiah onside for his rules out goal. If the linesman thought Willock touched it in I can understand it but then have a word with the ref and say it’s only off of Willock touched it, then the ref can tell him it was clearly Nketiah so it’s onside

When she commentated over the replay of the Molde goal she said “And he’s not going to miss from there” he was 30 yards out and bent it right in the bottom corner, not exactly one you ‘don’t miss’!

Did Ceballos play the first half?

Why is he in the team?

Some of the basic passing has been really poor and slow tonight.

He’s so deep, virtually a centre back

There’s been a couple of times when Kolasinac has got in behind and just been too slow to get the ball across. Just bring Tierney on and we win this game

It’s a cheeky this, and a cheeky that.

Annoying commentary, as well as bleedin obvious.

2-1 a brace of own goals. Willock makes it by making the off the ball run and forcing the pass
