In truth we should win our next two games with or without Saliba and there is a two week international break in there so hopefully the damage is limited.

If he’s missing for longer it’s a major problem. So much so I reckon arteta could change the formation for the 2 games at anfield and city to incorporate 3 centre backs

There are slightly different reports of Saliba’s injury in the English and French press. Im hopeful it isn’t that bad and Arteta is using an opportunity to make sure he doesn’t play in the international break.

Holding will probably come in tomorrow. For some reason you rarely see two left footed CB play together - or people feel nervous about it but there are plenty of right foot pairings around.

Could see someone like Ruell Walters on the bench tomorrow. Has played CB and RB.

One to watch is White against Zaha tomorrow, the winger who has given white the biggest problem this year is Rashford, Zaha isn’t on his level but is a similar type of player, fast, direct, good dribbler and also tall and physical

Another good time had by all on here again. Must've been one wild St. Pat's Day hangover.

As to Conte's post match comments...if having to see this face at every game no matter the opponent, it wouldn't be hard to throw the club under the bus. Needless to say, such a face was an advantage for AMN and Theo!

So it’s not only Donald Trump and Boris Johnson who post without thinking and then totally deny they made the comment. Sorry I’m not a fan who goes to every game so I am not worthy.

I don't know why: board the flight on Wednesday Saturday game and home by Tuesday. I suggest business class

Must be such a sad day to see a 2 goal lead disappear in the last 15 minutes :58big-emoticons:
And then to hear their manager spew such vile towards his players, club and everyone connected to the club
It must be terrible being a Spurs fan right now :42laughter:

Ah, the problem is clear now. I’ve never been to the Emirates only Highbury. Still I look back and am grateful for that and all the other travel my wife and I did particularly when younger.

Well there were tears in my eyes but it was because I was laughing so much. Been there with our boys before and it can happen but the manager is pushing for his payout. I am torn as to who I want to go down.

Must win game today but I take nothing for granted in this league and we've struggled to break down teams employing a low block whilst at the same time been vulnerable to those with pacy counter-attacks.

With Saliba and Tomiyasu out I'm guessing Holding will come in. Just hope we aren't without a couple of others after 120 mins on Thursday.

Saw someone say on the Conte situation, is this a case of the dressing room losing the manager rather than manager losing the dressing room?

Either way it is hilarious. All so predictable. See many say you don’t hire Conte if you don’t back him in the market, firstly he’s had £220m, and secondly how can you position yourself as an elite manager if the only way you work is to get bundles of money and basically just rely on having the best players? Coaching? Tactics? Improving players? Bringing through youth? Long term vision and philosophy?

Just like Mourinho at spurs and at Man U you could have predicted exactly what would happen with Conte at Spurs

If holding comes in I wonder whether we might just drop the back line 5 yards deeper to account for his lack of pace?

If we take our first 11 how many players outside this can come in and we see no real drop off in quality?
Trossard definitely
Tomiyasu on form
Tierney if we play to his strengths
Nketiah can do ok
Hopefully Smith-Rowe but we’ve not seen him in this years Arsenal

Lacking in central mid and centre back areas

So what happened to Dele Alli? I recall him being very good for Sperz. I didn't follow him after all that, I recall a drop in form and now I'm reading he's banished to watch from the stands at Besiktas. He's only 26.
Yes, bit of a head scratcher that one. He seemed to have it all to be a top player. Perhaps he made his money and isn't truly in love with the game enough to be bothered? Some good managers have tried to rescue his career and failed. Maybe he needs the supporting arm around the shoulder of Conte...

“The reason behind the decision is because the fixture was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18 but was shifted back a day due to the club's commitments in the Europa League.

The fixture was meant to be under the UK blackout of 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League and the rule will apply due to its original date.”

Quite a few of our games haven’t been on tv recently, I read a theory that teams can only feature on tv a certain or maximum number of times and the tv companies want to make sure we’re on a lot in the run in so aren’t putting us on now

Only 3 clean sheets in our last 18 at home. In huge contrast to our away form. It’s enough of a sample that you’d hope someone is looking hard at this. Are we too gung ho at home?

Anderson injured in the warm up for Palace, Tomkins comes in. Anderson has played well against us before with his accurate long diagonals

Excellent first half, patience then 2 good goals. Saka and Martinelli look sensational. Holding seems to have settled after a wobbly start. Good performances all round so far.
Palace have offered some threat on the counter, so not time to completely relax just yet.
