Tomiyasu starting at left back. Tierney on the bench.

Liverpool going with 4 forwards and a central midfield of just Henderson and Thiago. That looks quite one paced for them in there, it’s where we need to be all over them, fast football, high press winning every second ball etc

I'd have gone for Tierney.

Tomiyasu is arguably our best 1v1 defender and he’s naturally right footed up against Salah who cuts inside to use his left 95% of the time.

This must be a clear plan to stop Salah

I'm glad to see Palace win but they haven't been playing well this season. Wishing the best for Vieira.

Letting Liverpool have a little too much of the ball, but we look dangerous going forward. Marintelli and Saka look well up for it

They are having more of the play here. We need to be getting on the ball more. Odegard and Jesus need to be more on the ball.

Tsimkas is allowed to kick saka as much as he wants.

Rotten isn’t it

Had to give my ticket away today because of a commitment

Watching games like this on TV isn’t fun

My guess is Liverpool is trying the same thing Man Utd did with Rashford and go over the top muscling their way to a goal. Luckily our center halves are up to it....so far.

It's going to be difficult to keep this pace up. While we still have the energy, I am hoping we get another goal in before they tire.

You can see why players like Bergkamp, Kane, Shearer sharpened their elbows and got a bit tasty.

Either beat him with skill and show him that way, or someone needs to put him in line.

Not a lot of space for Liverpool between the midfield and the back line. It's frustrating them..gladly.

After the way that this season has gone so far today’s game is taking some getting used to. We normally have all of the ball.

And as I write that it just gone to 1-1.

Gabriel oh Gabriel, you needed to be more convicted in that attempted clearance

Sadly that was coming. We too often drop off the intensity and sit deep once we've got the lead.

Still can't keep a clean sheet at home

Yep. We are being too hurried on the ball. Lack of composure. Midfield just isn't functioning.

Maybe its the pessimistic fan approach but I don't like playing very good sides when they're out of form because it seems like playing us refocuses them. They continue to be sloppy against teams they think they should beat but when its us they know the world is watching and they need to pull their socks up!

Need to regroup at half time, more energy required in the second half. This game is still there to be won

Gabriel makes those mistakes a little too often in big games

I would but as of now we'd be lucky to get it.
