What a strike by Tierney, unlucky to see it come off the post and Nketiah makes the rebound finish look a lot easier than it was coming back to him at that pace

Pretty impressed by Bodo so far. They look well organized and their press is very good. The town of Bodo has around 45k inhabitants I think, located north of the arctic circle, so it's actually pretty impressive to produce a football team of decent European quality under those circumstances.

Vieira has some things to work on with his overall game, but his feet are magic

Vieira is the sort of player where you have fans of the other big teams jealous they weren't in for him. He was totally affordable for every big 6 club it is annoying when other clubs pick up attainable players. their fans won't have heard of him. lovely player

Nketiah has an uncanny ability to get his feet on the ball when it's played into the penalty area. Not always the cleanest of touches, but it looks like the ball seeks him out

Comfortable first half. More goals in the second would be good.

Cody Gakpo of PSV has 12 goals and 10 assists this season. We've been linked in the past, Man U heavily this summer

Great chance immediately, Xhaka actually took a shot with his right foot!

Martinelli preparing himself for the Pool match. He is so energetic.

Not sure playing it out from the back is something Bodo should be doing in this game, Arsenal are a different level to the teams they usually face. Looks dangerous almost every time they try it

The increase in the amount of shots we take each game this season has been remarkable. 14 shots already in this game.

We've been ordinary in the second half. We need to be careful here.

Why Saka? He has looked tired in some games.

Perhaps in hope he will score and boost his confidence for the Pool game. Believe he hasn't scored yet this season.

These guys are no mugs
Will be tricky for us on their artificial pitch next week.
This group is far from won.
To win this competition we are going to need to see more of the first 11 as we progress as the opposition get harder.

Tomiyasu is so versatile, can play anywhere in the backline.

Nelson getting a few minutes, Eddie off. He got a good goal but he's been underwhelming overall.

Has everyone completely underestimated how good a footballer Jesus is simply because he was in a star studded City team and didn’t start every game

I think so, I certainly underestimated him and I really rated him and was happy when we were first linked. Same thing with Zinchenko, saw him as a neat and tidy player who did his job at City, but I had definitely underestimated what a gifted player he is.

Disappointing 2nd half, lost control of the game and as a consequence had to bring on some of the big guns.

Did give us the chance to see what quality Jesus and Ødegaard have though.

I thought Tomiyasu was excellent, as was Tierney and Rob Holding was very good too.

Turner did well with his shotstopping but the ball is like a hot potato at his feet.

Nketiah showed glimpses and scored an excellent goal with an instinctive finish.

Vieira is very much like David Silva or Bernardo Silva, not the biggest or strongest but with superb technique, touch and vision.

Marquinhos looked a bit overawed to be honest but the quality is there.

Definite big hole in the centre of the park without Partey though.

Beat Bodo away and PSV in our next two games in Europa and we’d have 12 points and those two would only be able to have a maximum of 7 points. Considering they would still need to play each other it would be enough for us to qualify…..and we’d likely just need a point more to finish top and avoid an extra knock out round tie which the 2nd placed team has to do.

I think Arteta goes quite strong for the PSV home game

Good win tonight. Don't rush about the PSV match, as jolly, jolly, Oct. 13 Arsenal play Bodo away. Their fans will be up for it.

3 nil but It wasn’t a good performance really which sounds odd

I thought Marquinhos had a really bad game and but for the 2 nil lead would have been hooked at half time. Turner looked a bit shaky and had terrible distribution and I have to say despite his goal it was hardly a performance to propel Nketiah back in the side. To be centre forward for Arsenal you have to have more to your game than chasing down loose balls in the hope the defender or keeper dwells on it.

That said Tommy was superb plus Tierney too and vieira showed some of his ability.
