Wonderful. Nottingham Forest, FA Cup 3rd round draw.

Xhaka starting is a huge surprise. He’s a month ahead of schedule and hasn’t even had a sub run out.

It's clear Arteta isn't happy about how our midfield has been performing in Xhaka's abscence, and rightly so. Also shows the need to strengthen in that area, hopefully as soon as January.

Does anyone know if Emile Smith Rowe is injured, or is Arteta giving him a rest?

He was reported to be assessed before the game with a tight groin, so I assume he's injured seeing he's not on the bench.

Partey shot. A bit less than 4/10.

We haven’t got the players to move the ball quick enough. Everything is telegraphed it’s so easy to defend against. We need a few skilful midgets

Shocking game so far

Another Mike Dean / VAR classic.

Quite unbelievable.

*%^@*** unbelievable. So it's ok by Dean to rake your studs deliberately in an opponent's face.

He’s all like “whoops” but never looks at tomiyasu. If I accidentally step in someone’s face I’m going to naturally make eye contact to see if they’re ok. I think that’s deliberate and he’s gone in on Tomiyasu already which is why he’s done it. That a red. Dark red at that. *%^@

At least VAR spotted it, Dean deserves another suspension in fact he's not fit for purpose and should be put out to pasture and out of our misery.

Everton planning a walk out protest against mismanagement so Arsenal are bound to hand them a moral boosting 1 - 0 win .... it's our way .

I’ll say it again, who was the last opponent to get a straight red for serious foul play against us? It is a joke

Isn’t his boss Mike Riley? Enough said.

I think that one is on VAR, not Dean. He never looked at it, did he? Must've gotten clear word from the VAR room that it was nothing.

This is a poor performance so far. Totally toothless.

What is amazing is that Stuart Atwell as VAR called it. It’s quite unusual now for a referee not to overturn his original decision.

Oh. Is that what happened. Even more remarkable then. Two duff decisions.

Partly putting in a 4/10 performance so far. Caught in e ball far too often.

We’re slow and passing backwards and sideways. Second to virtually every 2nd ball.

This is all the worst things about us on display today

If any ref is going to be completely arrogant enough to disregard the opinion of the var ref then it’s Mike Dean

So far Godfrey has cut Saka down twice and stamped his boot in Tomiyasu’s face. It happens far too often against us that players are allowed to continually foul, dangerously with no punishment

Some stinking performances here.

Why did Ødegaard turn and pass that back????????????
He had lots of space to run onto. And Saka was already running forward.

Big reprieve with the offside to disallow that goal. We need to wake the hell up. I knew that free kick was going to lead to a problem for us

With every passing game it looks more and more like our string of good performances earlier in the fall was a blip rather than us finding a new level. Very depressing
