Good inclusion of Lacazette
Good omission of both Ødegaard & Pépé
Odd omission of Tierney

Hope Saka comes down to help Tomiyasu more today.

Just heard, Tierney injured

chance for Aubameyang and Saka. great through ball from Partey to Saka. Auab kind of fluffs the overhead. Decent chance

Nice from Tavares. Big and strong and shrugs villa off the ball, goes on his own and blazes over from a tight angle.

Aubameyang goal ruled out for a foul by Lacazette tackling their defender in their box. Good tempo from us

We're not holding back with the challenges today, need to tread the line carefully but nice to see some fight in the team

I've seen us win more 2nd balls in 15 minutes than we did in 90 vs Palace

NGiin absolutely scythes partey down, plays advantage doesn't come back for the booking - so infuriating!

Lacazette has that bit of hustle and needle to his game that we often lack.

Can we say that was a bit of a weak hand from Martinez as well?

Fully deserved

Need to have learned the lesson from Palace, don't let up now. Keep the intensity going, make them fight for it

So have we learnt from Palace. Need to keep the hammer down.

9 shots in the first 25 minutes. So, so much better when we play with this intensity

Lokonga provides cover for Partey to rampage. Ref not spotting Villa niggly fouls.

Lacazette has been a tour de force so far. chasing back every time we lose it and often winning it back and roughing them up

That was a perfect pass from Tavares, 2-0 would've done us a world of good.

MGinn finally in the book. Lokonga pressing high and winning it off him.

It seems like we've realised that Prem refs are the most lenient in the world and will often give the decision to the quicker, faster team rather than the team waving their arms asking for the foul
