He’s right but there’s little protocol for it. I’m not sure the circumstance is something frequently expected.

That will change now and a precedent will be introduced surely

It was quite a stressful situation and could've been better dealt with from BBC.

Fantastic news that he's awake and stable. Credit to the amazing medics whose swift actions undoubtedly saved his life. True heroes.

Imagine how stressful it was for his family. Terrible.

It's a positive as Eriksen is stable. Apparently game will pick up where it left off.
Belgium v Russia will go ahead anyway.

A difference in opinion is brown or red with a bacon sandwich. (It’s brown btw)

Trashing our own manager for not picking young players blatantly not good enough is ridiculous and should frankly get called out.

Andy if Eriksen wasn't stable, then, no, game should be postponed. Apparently players spoke to him and it was agreed on to play the match. But Denmark lost anyway.

Red and brown actually.
Who says they are not good enough?
Maybe if he gave them a proper go we may find out. I'm sure the majority of our fanbase would have preferred to see Nelson have some faith put in him rather than those minutes going to the has been that is Willian.

Echo all of that. Also credit to Anthony Taylor the ref who immediately saw what had happened and apparently had the game stopped and waving medics on within 3 seconds of Eriksen falling. Could have easily had a delayed or different reaction. Plenty of people played a big or small part in saving Eriksen’s life yesterday and it would have been incredibly distressing for Taylor as well.
How nice would it be if Anthony Taylor was applauded on to pitches in the league next year for his actions in helping Eriksen.

I have NEVER claimed player quality is the sole factor determining transfer fee size. Because it isn’t, full stop. I didn’t say it was in post 530621 or anywhere else. Because it isn’t. It is one of a number of factors.

Glad you still think there’s no need to continue this. Which makes me wonder why you did your last post unless you’re a sad obsessive determined to write the final post on any subject. For the sake of your mental stability, I hope that isn’t the case.

Your post 530621 confirms player quality determines transfer value. No longer any need to continue this

P.s you mentioned Jorginho who is also the same age as Xhaka

You forgot to add 'nah nah ne nah nah' and a threat to hold your breath until Bernard agrees with all your points, and to attach a photo of you with your tongue out and fingers in your ears.

I have no interest in international football and rarely watch it. Hate to be a Jonah but I’d probably go for Croatia today. Last time I saw them was in a World Cup final. Last time I saw Ingerlund was v Iceland.

That intensity in midfield from Phillips and mount and co. Chasing everything. High tempo

Feels like Arsenal have missed that type of intensity in the middle of the pitch for so long,

Yes, we miss that type of intensity for much too long.

As long as Saka isn't knackered, I'm not too fussed about England at Euro 2020. Congrats on beating Croatia's geriatricos 1-0, though. If it'll take your mind off Xhaka, it's probably good for your health.

It did occur to me the performance of Kalvin Phillips was the type of display our Swiss friend was incapable of. Competing for every ball across the middle at lightening pace allowing Modric very little time in possession.

Basically offer Leeds every midfielder we have bar Partey in exchange for him!

A change in the structure of our midfield could change our fortunes but England looked good for once I have to say.

Hey I’m not asking him to agree to my point, he was the one disagreeing to my posts and harping on about it.

I was responding to your posts. You brought Jorginho into the debate when I asked you who these players were who you thought would move for money than Xhaka. First, your that contradicts your apparent point that transfer fee size is the measure of player quality if you seriously think Xhaka is so bad (the worst you’ve seen play for Arsenal). Player quality is an influence on transfer fee size, I’ve said that all along. But it’s not the only one as I’ve explained at length to you because other things affect transfer fee size.

You’ve also made the point that none of our midfielders would get into the midfields of those above us. That’s what puzzled me when you mentioned Jorghino after I asked you to name the worse players than Xhaka who would move for more money than Xhaka. Jorghino regularly gets into Chelsea’s side.

I know you will respond again as you have to have the last word. That’s another reason I suspect you’re a sad obsessive.

The sad thing is I actually suspect you believe that, rather than you taking the Mickey out of you own obsessive behaviour. Here’s a chance to prove me wrong. I don’t think you’ll be able to not reply to this because of you being a sad obsessive. Let’s see if you can prove me wrong by not responding. I bet you can’t.

Are you any surer now? The right men for the job on the day, so well done Southgate. Only downside was Kane's relatively ineffectual showing. He looked slower than Xhaka, but hopefully will come good.

Phillips looks a very very good player. Great energy and looks to be able to spot a pass.

For me he’s in the 11, when he plays he always looks the player most likely to connect the dots in the final third. The fact we won doesn’t change for me he should have been involved. Also don’t get the trippier at left back thing or the fact Sancho didn’t make the bench.

Yes your right though a good performance and your also right on Kane who really didn’t do well at all.
