This has been a problem with Arsenal for ages, a complete inability to offer a credible counter attacking threat

Where is Arteta the master tactician?

Well right now we’re winning againest a side miles better than us :laughing7:

It may not stay that way however but you can’t say it hasn’t worked so far

It's a bit of a mystery with the players we have. Ødegaard, Saka, Partey can all hold onto the ball, Aubameyang and Smith-Rowe are good runners. Agree with Top Gun about putting Pépé on, let him do his thing in the final third.

We need to actually get into their final third first.

Bellerin for Saka.... I was sure it would be Tierney. Ominously, Giroud on for the Chavs.

70th minute, so far a tactical masterclass from Arteta. A classic rope a dope.

Wonder if he can pull it off.

Hudson odoi has got a really unusual way of crossing the ball. Little to no backlift and and sort of clips it flat. He looks a really promising player, can’t really get a run for Chelsea though. They’ve got about 8 wingers.

chelsea press high and then swarm all over us when they lose it, that swarm however does give opportunities to win cheap free kicks because of the over eagerness of Chelsea trying to win it back. They're relying on us panicking and kicking it back to them or overplaying, sometimes just waiting for them to come too close and engineering the foul is a good option

Be interesting to see Emile Smith Rowe’s stats - he’s been everywhere tonight.

very good from Partey then. for a moment it was vieira-like, knocking the ball over their head and then using his strength to hold them off and win the free kick

He's a little hard to nail down as a player for me - regularly has a few bad touches and misplaced passes, but he's one of those players where every game he plays things just seem to happen around him.

yep, that kind of inside left position suits him. Did very well there against spurs

Aubameyang off for Lacazette. Aubameyang doesn't look too happy but I'm surprised he lasted 78 minutes given the lack of fitness he must have from the malaria

81st minute ... Tuchel looks frustrated

The thrashings at Stamford bridge seem a distant memory. 9 minutes to pull this off.

Well he has a two on his shorts. I think it’s that. It just seems.. For the sake of it? Maybe that’s the reason for most tattoos I dunno.
