You are still at Chapter 1 of the Book? The pages have turned long time back. Keep up! :icon_mrgreen:

He's doing better than me. I was still browsing the back cover.

Btw Aubameyang has had some very good touches in this half not just the goal.

Pass on the run with his instep.

Even if they did, none of the good ones would be coming our way. :26surprise:

Smart of Xhaka to pull out of that challenge. Any slight touch and that Newcastle player will be screaming and rolling on the ground.

I have to say that Matt Ryan has looked rock solid and been inspiring confidence in those around him.

I was just thinking the same. He's been very good although he's been in pipe and slippers mode for long periods.

Unexciting and well controlled.

I’m not sure that’s allowed. Could you get him to ramp up the jeopardy please? Thank you.

Not harsh at all. Borderline at best. Reckless at worst.

It reminded me of the foul on Diaby by that Sunderland triallist. Equally grim and unnecessary.

I think he was simply too eager there. No malice intended.

When you know you can’t get the ball, I.e. when you have to go through the back of them, there has to be a little bit of malice involved.

Indeed.

I was worried there for a moment with that challenge on Martinelli.

Nice comfortable win. Goal and some minutes for Aubameyang was the biggest positive ahead of Thursday. I also really like Martinelli and his willingness to directly dribble at players, he causes problems, ok it might not work every time but given the choice between a winger who dribbles 10 times and loses it 7 of those times and beats his man the other 3 vs a winger who constantly just passes it back to his full back I know which it rather have.

I’d start Bellerin on Thursday as well.

Bellerin is comfortably the best right back at the club. It's another odd decision by Arteta. Also, what was the point of signing Cédric if he is neither 1st or 2nd choice for either fullback position?

It’s not just the dribbling. If he loses the ball then he works hard to get it back and he is very effective at a high press.
