I’m watching from behind the tree in the back garden :58big-emoticons:

I'm glad we've gone back to Havertz up top and one feels that Martinelli is bound to put in a good performance sooner or later ... otherwise I'm not feeling very confident about this. But, once more into the breach!

You’ve got to be in it to win it.

We have every chance.

We’re having no joy whatever up our right. Benny has hardly had a touch.

Moving the press forward though. Making ground.

That was a good chance. We are not quite fluid but playing well nonetheless.

Great chance for Martinelli...straight at the keeper, unfortunately

We’re playing well here. Not forcing it but feels like we’re the more dominant team. Bayern are dangerous of course.

It’s big boys stuff. The longer it goes on like this the more relaxed we should become. Good performance so far.

Agree on both counts. This is good stuff from us….and Kimmich has been a class player for years.

A few of the players slow in getting back when we lose possession.

We’re the better team, but they’re dangerous on the break.

Exactly the Munich tactics people were expecting.

Very much so; nearly as loud as the home lot.

We’re looking comfortable on the ball without trying too many risky passes, we’ve looked good when we have played one touch and quicker but it’s so much harder.
We’ve pressed well and sensibly, not pressing every time but cutting off a lot of easy passes square or in to midfield from their defence and it’s forced them to play more direct passes - on a couple of occasions down our right they have played some great one touch stuff to get in but we’ve managed it well to win possession back quickly

Key for us is getting it wide quickly, feels like Saka has the beating of his man and if Martinelli gets a bit of space and 1v1 I think he can get the better of Kimmich - but Bayern have doubled up well on him

Good refereeing, first proper professional foul, Ødegaard was away from him. Laimer pulled him back. Definite yellow

Bayern deserved that. We've been pallid this half.

We haven’t looked liked scoring at all all night. I think that’s all she wrote unfortunately. We just lack real cutting edge at the very highest level atm, no shame in that, we keep improving, but we need to add some top quality.

I was worried when we allowed Kimmich to advance the ball so far up. And that eventually got us. :20hospitals:

We need to pull ourselves together sharpish or there's going to be a second.

The unwillingness to use Emile Smith Rowe and Partey is a great mystery. What is there to lose? We're completely flat in midfield and up front.

Ødegaard isn’t 100% so it is a bit odd.

I think Jesus was on there. I don’t understand how he is so bad in front of goal.

Bayern have contained us very well. We clearly need a striker because doubling up on Saka negates a huge part of our attack.

Jesus is a shadow of the player at the beginning of last season.

It's a big weakness of Arteta's.
