Patrick Kluivert - one who was heavily linked with us in Arsene's early years. At the time I was very disappointed he did not join.

One thing that is clear from the documentary is that Arteta is trying to send us out every game with a high line, high energy and high tempo. So when we look sluggish it’s probably more on the players

You're right about the coaches TG. Carlos Cuesta - who looks about 15 - comes across as a really sharp guy when he's talking with Saka over lunch. I think there are some smart people at the club now.

Last season I have to say despite being a fan and regular listener to the Tuesday club it wound me up listening to Alan Davies make fun of Artetas assistants and coaches calling them the pit crew. It’s quite clear they have employed some smart cookies like Cuesta but also a set piece coach and others. Also it’s a complete abandonment of wenger just employing Steve Bould and other complete yes men in a skeleton crew.

Also last season we had various people talking the usual nonsense after each defeat saying we had “no recognised style of play”. All I’ll say is if anyone is stupid enough to still think this watch 7 minutes in to episode 2 and the exercise they are getting the players to perform. 2 different formations one when in possession and one out with players occupying non standard parts of the pitch. I really hope we see less ridiculous accusations from our own fans this season and agree with what roast beef said the other day that this is the most interesting side we have had for years.

Have started watching All or Nothing, Arsenal. Enjoying it.
Good to know Arteta's positive psyche despite the huge pressures. Respect :53big-emoticons:

I think tonight’s opening game starting 11 will only have 3 players the same as the starting 11 last year. White, Xhaka and Martinelli

£62m for Cucurella seems a bit mad, especially when Chelsea already have Chilwell. He's good but £62m?

That seems Chelseas's MO this summer, though, throw crazy money at every sought after player out there and see what sticks.

If Lomu is not in a list of serial killers, or starred in the Sweeney, then your pitch will fall on stony ground. :laughing7:

James Dean - not sure but my guess would be actor.
Jane Mansfield - not sure but my guess would be actress.

JFK - an assassinated US president.
Nikita Kruschev - a former Soviet leader.
Mother Theresa - a nun.
Ho Chi Min - a communist dictator of Vietnam.
Buddy Holly - not sure but my guess would be a jazz musician.

Are you saying the referee sounds dodgy? The article suggests the booking had to be in the last ten minutes and the referee had already ignored a few earlier incidents of time wasting by Xhaka?

Jamie O'Hara is paid for his football opinions. What does Jamie O'Hara think of William Saliba? Over the last three years, there are so many things that a footballing brain like Jamie O'Hara might have mulled over, and concluded, about William Saliba. Could you be Jamie O'Hara? Imagine being Jamie O'Hara.

Well done B for being right and letting the rest of us know - it might have escaped people's notice otherwise.
